Air Con Mod

Not sure if I should post this here or not??!! I'm wondering if anyone has retro-fitted aircon? If so, any tips or suggestions? Would a garage do it for me? How much would it cost? Would ya bother? etc

I did look into this once, and was given a quote of 'About a grand', but that was only a couple of places near me, so you should be able to get it cheaper.

No, but I can sell you a VR6 air con pump and some hoses to get you started?

just sell your car and buy one with air con. it'll work out cheaper.

 

better than having some nasty aftermarket kit fitted too.

I've never felt the need for it.

Good point, there's also the fact that it leaches power & ever increasing fuel costs would go up.

yeah, I bought some original VAG black leather seats for it... it goes well with the original grey bits too... 8)
