Hi,

Having similar window issues to this thread http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=48770 (electric windows only work when door is open, I also have sunroof and reversing light issues as the fuse keeps blowing). The suggested fix is a new window control unit.

 

Can I fit a B3 Passat unit (part number 357 959 875)? I think the bracket is different, just wondered if anyone had done the same. I phoned VW and a replacement unit is about £160!

 

I'll see if anyone has one here in the Parts Wanted section, but wanted to check as an alternative.
