ray_vr6 1 Posted January 25, 2014 Hi I am having to replace the O snap ring (circlip) as it "disappeared" which allowed the ring and so consequently the spring top cap to travel the length of the shock (bilstein) This then resulted in the shock pushing through the top mounting! I tried to replace the snap ring with two flat external circlips but as soon as I lowered the car back off the jack it did the same!
