Tornado red G60

Recommended Posts

Here i have my 1991 (J reg) vw corrado G60

Sought after tornado red (LY3D)

Mileage is 159,000

Tax- end of april

Mot- end of september

History:

Service history is full and extensive, service book is filled and stamped from birth to 2002, from then onwards until 2012 it was owned by a vw specialist who made his own service booklet which is filled with everything youd want to see. Original grey leather owners wallet is present in great condition filled with all original hand books. I have what looks like all previous mot certs, receipts etc including the certificate for the toad alarm/immobiliser. It comes with 4 spare keys and toad reset key.

Exterior:

Bodywork is in great condition NO RUST anywhere bodywork or underside which is very rare, ive looked long and hard for imperfections and all i can find is a very small dent in the front bumper and an even smaller one on passenger door ( most people wouldnt even see it im just being very honest)

Paint:

Great overall condition , tornado red is miles apart from other reds. Theres a small amount of laquer peel on the roof, on the bonnet there is a very small scratch that has been touched up by previous owner not realy noticeable but worth a mention, passenger wing mirror has a slight fade in paint im 98% sure this will machine polish out but if not its a very small price for this to be painted, rear number plate light surround isnt in great condition but again would be very cheap to paint and you cant even see it unless you get your head right in. Im being 100% honest as i dont want to waste anyones time but these tiny imperfections do not affect the great look of the car.

Wheels/tyres:

Azev A 17x7.5 with the harder to find flat centre caps with locking nuts and keys, lips and dishes have a few marks but centres are very good.

The tyres are yokohama parada spec, rears have hardly any wear and fronts have a small amount of wear.

Suspension/brakes:

Avo gtz height and dampening coilovers, however i feel they need refurbing this will cost £120-150 from avo. I have a new set of jom coilovers to go on while refurb is in progress even though ive been told avo give a very fast turn around.

Brakes: g60 brakes up front, pads have lots of life in them, brake lines were changed around 15,000 miles ago. The rears have been converted to mk4 golf with goodrich conversion hoses, the car stops very well.

Interior:

Standard black cloth seats in very good condition, slight wear to drivers bolster. Rears look like they havnt been sat in and the original warning triangle is present and unused, original corrado floor mats in good condition, all electrics work however spoiler switch is a bit tempramental. It has the usual loose handbrake cover however i have now got a fixing kit for it which may get fitted before sale. Ive recently fitted a 300mm momo wheel/boss that looks great, original wheel is included as the smaller wheel is slightly harder to handle. Boost gauge is fitted where one of the centre blowers was.

Engine/mods:

The engine runs great, bay is clean and tidy.

Red samco hoses

Red ht leads

Large k&n air filter

Rebuilt stage 4 supercharger at jabbasport

around 15,000 miles ago

Schrick camshaft

Piper vernier pulley

Ecu chip to go with the above

Uprated engine mounts

Sachs sport clutch

Rebuilt quaife gearbox with atb limited slip diff

Full stainless fabrikat exhaust system

Apparantly the car has been rr'd @ 201 bhp but the previous owner had lost the printouts so take that info as you may.

If ive missed anything youd like to know please ask
