unomatt 10 Posted May 21, 2014 Afternoon all, in the boot of my '92 valver, left hand side as you look at it, between the wheelarch and the boot lip is a black plastic strap, what is it supposed to hold in?! Would it be for a warning triangle? Jack? So confused!
joebloggsVR69 0 Posted May 21, 2014 Might be for the med kit, if you don't have the humped rear seat
GlosterOx 0 Posted May 21, 2014 Yes, I believe it was for the warning triangle as the VR6 has a zip on the back of the rear seat for theirs - Other thing would be the first aid kit? Ian.
Jim 2 Posted May 21, 2014 I'm sure it was (and still is) a legal requirement for cars in Germany to travel with an 'in date' first aid kit. So my gut feeling would be that it's for the first aid kit rather than the warning triangle. Pretty sure in one of my previous valvers, there was indeed a first aid kit anchored to this strap in the boot :)
