borders16v 0 Posted July 1, 2014 Hi guys. Im trying to find a coolant sensor for my 93k 2.016v 9a engine. The local dealer was no good and ive tried many places online too. I had part no vw026906161 but thats the wrong part apparently ? Im well confused on this simple matter Can anyone point me in the right direction,thanks. Could you elaborate on which sensor it is, and where it's located on the block and I'll try remember to look on the parts catalogue for you later. borders16v 0 Posted July 1, 2014 (edited) HI Jim. Yeh I think itsa lazyness problem.VW west edinburgh couldnt find a coolant sensor ? Micks garage said they didnt sell them even though they are on their website ? Then called East edinburgh vw. They said they couldnt find it either? so gave them the vw 026906161 for golf. He said it will fit as its for a 9a. So maybe thats the one ? £43 dealer price Lol. This could still be wrong though ?
