Drivers wing mirror glass surround (black plastic)

Hi all, I've scratched the black plastic trim on the drivers wing mirror reversing out the garage....I've only been doing it for 10 years ! Lol. Does anyone have a spare one about please ? I need to change it because it will bug me. Many thanks Chris.

Got loads of spare/broken mirrors matey.

If your not in a hurry i'll pop one in the post for ya, might take a while to get there'cos i'm in Rome..

3 screws inside the housing that screw the black bit onto the mirror housing.

Remember to be very carefull when removing the mirror glass though, pulling off

the glass can crack it, watch out for corroded spade terminals for the heated glass aswell..

Be extra carefull whilst pushing back on the mirror glass that snaps into place,

i always put a dab of silicone grease on the 4 plastic outer locating 'ears' to

avoid cracking the glass, try not to push the outer parts of the glass as i remember cracking a few like this..but with the grease applied you should be fine.

Packed it up today mate, before i forget, don't forget the tiny set screw that's

located underneath the swivel bit of the mirror and spray some wd40 or

similuer onto those little bastid connectors for the heated element,

i buggered one mirror glass today removingvit..

I'll try posting it out monday morning.
