bigphil 10 Posted February 18, 2015 Corrado VR6 VW Corrado VR6 Excellent Condition **LOW MILEAGE, 2 OWNERs FROM NEW** (1996) Lack of use is forcing me to reluctantly sell my 1996 -N registered (Late-one of the last) VW Corrado VR6 in Dragon Green Pearl Effect (LC6U), which has only covered 103,000 miles. A completely original honest example with only one owner for the first 16 years since new and myself for 2 years. This car has never been modified or abused in any way. It still has its original dealer stickers in the windows. Unmarked interior consisting of of black heated leather seats which are in exceptional condition. Very well maintained, Oil & filter changes every 5k or less during my ownership, only ever using genuine VAG spec oil & parts. The car is very reliable having never broken down during my 2 years of ownership which is rare for a corrado! The engine nor running gear has any aftermarket modifications with the exception of a replacement exhaust to avoid welding. Recent work completed includes; thermostat & housing replacement, temp sensor, rear ABS sensor, full service with all fluids changed (inc. Gearbox, coolant & brake fluid) The factory original exhaust has been replaced in the last 5k with a new jetex stainless steel catback, this system in not overly loud and perfectly sensible for normal driving. No ABS faults - Light comes on and goes off as it should. All four original speedline wheels have just been fully refubished and are in perfect condition. The rear spoiler raises and lowers as it should at speed with no issues. The vehicle is supplied with all (original)3 keys & 2 remote fobs. Full closure Alarm & Immoboliser system. Leather wallet with all owner's manuals etc. V5 registration document present. Nearly Toyo proxes tyres on the front with Goodyear NCT eagles on the rear with plenty of tread MOT - FEB 2016 TAX ? AUG 2015 Bad Bits: Really there isn't a lot at all - The only bad bits are a few small areas of surface rust, would not require much to bring back to perfect condition but unfortunately I do not have the time. Stone chips to the front bumper Heater blower only works on max setting (Blower fan recently replaced; control cables just needs tightening) Don't let any of the above put you off. I really am listing everything. These are very minor problems and if you are not aware of these cars are all very common and will certainly affect almost all but a few of these vehicles. All are a very easy fix. I am pleased to offer this vehicle with a very comprehensive and fully documented history file with all previous MOT certificates and with bills and receipts for work carried out. No expense has been spared. These vehicles with only 2 owner from new and with only 103,000 are now getting increasingly harder to find especially having no modifications A genuinely stunning car that has been much loved and really is in outstanding condition for its age and drives absolutely beautifully.
