Zinc plating

I'm after sending a few bolts off from the engine bay to be zinc plated.

 

Any recommendations or an idea on cost to do it?

 

Is it per item or weight?

I used my local chrome platers, i just took all the items down to them and got a quote. I'm pretty sure this is the way most places will do their pricing.
