What it is that has actually happened to mine is that the thin plastic ribbon with the hole for the gear stick in the central grove has snapped in two. It sounds like my numbers are in the same condition as yours so no need to swap them over. If you could just send me the complete plastic ribbon that would be all i need - should save on the postage too! Much appreciated.
