c13tay 0 Posted April 28, 2003 Fitting either a turbo charger or supercharger to a 2.0 16v Looked in the Neuspeed cat - they do a bolt on supercharger butr only for the 8v I think
LowG 0 Posted April 28, 2003 lots of work is involved if you looking to get more than 250hp. basically you are changing its behaviour from a normally aspired to a boosted engine. I suppose there wont be a huge deal of work if you only push about 5-7 psi but even with that you gotta change outlet manifold, your exhaust system, plus all your turbo stuff like intercooler BOV and all that,i dont know how the fuel system on a 16v will cope with boost. Personally i wouldnt go 16vT,now you can push as much as 450hp from it with the right budged but if you short on money and want about 240-250 G60 would be your best way as with lot less money you can achive that power than you can on the 16v. GazzaG60 0 Posted April 28, 2003 Getting the injection system to work properly is the biggest problem mechanical stuff just bolts together if its the right size. but breathing feeding and sparking are different matters. build it on a digi 1 G60 and get a proper remap n itll work better
