Headlight adjuster

Recommended Posts

Hi, I've done a boo boo 😂 changed a dip best bulb and managed to apply a little to much pressure on the clip, and the adjuster being old and brittle has crumbled....

Dose anyone have a clue where I'd find one,... I'm currently blinding people from my o/s headlamp being loose inside

Age old problem mate,

I'm not even bothering to touch the buggers anymore, I just get a set of electric motors

Off eBay and modify the lamp accordingly..

I may have one spare in my headlamp box of bits but don't hold your breath.

Tomorrow I'll check.

Ye that's a good point. Diddnt think of just doing away with that completely and getting electronic adjustment, hmm that would be awsome if you had one spare, cheers

Well, i 'did' have a spare but as soon as i tried to gently remove the Little bastid, yep

It turned to dust.

Wait 'til monday as I've got to see a scrapped g60, one of the very few remaing.. My contact assures me that the front end is ok. I'll see if the adjusters are ok and maybe send the headlamp shell, no other way I'm afraid.

No joy mate, same as before, no way of removing it without the bloody thing crumbling.

I'll have to locate you a complete shell with that dam adjuster attached.
