ozowen 2 Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) Dubs Mania and Retro Car Mania at Weston Park, Shropshire, TF11 8LE. 4TH AND 5TH JUNE 2016 20 x Car Club Stand Requested We always seem to struggle to fill a stand for this show and I really can't understand why :-? It is in a fantastic location, has a bloody good mix of cars with the addition of the Retro Mania, there is free camping and the entrance fee is only £15 for the weekend or £10 for the Sunday only. There are early bird tickets available on the website http://www.bus-types.co.uk/DM-Home/dm-home.html We had a good turnout last year but it would be even better if I could tempt some more of you along this year. As above; my brother has twenty passes for the Golf Mk2 stand but is offering up 5 places to any Corrado owners that would like to take them. I am usually tagged onto this club at most shows, as not many Corrado's seem to attend some shows on the official CCGB. Non at Tatton last year for example. This isn't a dig at anyone, I'm just stating a fact. So as he's my brother I tend to attach myself to their stand. We are going to be camping there so if you coming, give us your name and Corrado flavour and I'll pass them on to my brother. ozowen 2 Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) Looking at the views 30 of you have looked (ok some have been me re-looking) but take a chance if you are free this weekend; it's a good venue and the people put it into a must go to show. We aren't bothered about how the Corrado looks, it's the get together that makes the weekend. To quote Delia Smith "Let's be ave'ing you". More then likely just come up on the Sunday though It is a brilliant show (weather permitting) one year I was the only car on the CCGB stand and my brother the only one on the MK2 Golf stand. Last years show was simply brilliant, check out the blog link above (there is a good VW presence and the retro rides part has some stunning marques) I'll get my bro to add you to the list.......he tends to keep the passes and hands them out on the day if you arrive; that way those that don't make it haven't got the pass which allows the pass to go to any others that just turn up....... Haha yeh, lived here all my life! No not really, smoothed front bumper last summer, but other then that no exterior changes what-so-ever, not that I'm aware of, and if if correct I'm only a little way down the road from you... Could well have been me, I am around that area a lot. Also still looking to come this weekend, but cars central locking has failed and I now can't get the fuel flap open, hoping to get it fixed tonight. If i do, looking to come down and stay the Saturday after I'm done at Coventry. ozowen 2 Posted June 7, 2016 (edited) Well this was a very good show again. Weather a little overcast to begin the day but once the sun had shone through it was lovely. The setting for the show is gorgeous. Large club areas also helped clubs to spread their vehicles about rather than the stamp size ones at some shows. So here are some pics of the variety of cars on display. VAG brand first - Only Corrado's I found, the second one was for sale.
