Cleaning wheel arch coilover struts and other bits behind the wheels.

I have the corrado up on stands at the moment and thought about giving the whole wheel arch area a clean. I don't have a jet wash so can anyone recommend products to use. Most importantly what to use to seal the coilover struts and threads.

I'd get the worst of the rubbish off first with a jet wash.. Your local car wash should have one. You can leave the muck on someone else's drive. Depending on how clean you want the arches to be then Jack the car up and do the rest by hand.

I've used this on quite a bit of my car, most of the engine bay etc

Dries hard and gets into all the small areas

I took my arch liners off the front wings to give them a proper clean.

 

Sprayed with Megs APC, but any good all purpose cleaner will do. Leave it to soak for a bit then used the auto glym wheel brush to give them a good scrub

 

Rinsed with a hose pipe, then washed with normal car shampoo and a sponge (its the only time I use a sponge on the car) and rinsed again.

 

Used a towel to dry and then applied a coat of colnite wax, and buffed off. Then repeated the wax process again.

 

As for the coilovers, I would probably apply copper grease or white grease. To protect them
