follow on from"pully and belt question" and a big

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

First off, I would like to say a big thanks for all of your advice guys.

Secondly a HUGE thanks to Bilal @ SNS Tuning, who came round yesterday with the ecu of his car, the ecu in question had the same chip I'm fitting to mine.

Plugged the ecu in and it started straight away (atleast I know whats wrong now), so I took it for a spin, Im used to quick cars having owned previously, a civic vtec, celica gt-four and have a mondeo v6 run about. Now this is how a G60 should feel!!! oh my god!!!! no lag, just pure, smooth acceleration.

We put it on the road dyno and it made near enough 200bhp at the crank and this was with normal unleaded(no detenation), but next time its optimax only. I now can't wait to get the ecu back from VW and get the beast on the road!

A big thanks to Bilal for bringing round the ecu and all the advice on improving my G60

Top Bloke

Thanks

James

:D :D :D :D :D

You've got a nice G60 there James, it responded very well to the map and we didnt even fine tune it with the timing! Run that baby on nothing less than Super, Optimax is best.

Also bear in mind it was a hot day, on a cold night it'll be even better 8)
