woody 0 Posted September 14, 2004 I won a BBS Volante wheel on ebay a couple of weeks ago and went to a shop near me who looked in his book and sold me a Boss to fit the wheel. Problem according to this guys data my 91 corrado has the same spline as a MK1 golf which is much smaller. i.e. there is no way on earth that the boss will ever fit. Does anybody know the size of the spline so i can go and ask for the correct boss. Cheers in advance Woody
Blue_Joe 0 Posted September 14, 2004 Is the spline too big??? There is a sleeve on the steering column of the corrado making it a larger diameter. I removed the spline on mine to reveal a smaller diameter set of splines. However mine was to fit a momo boss suitable for a mk2 golf. Still this may fix it. Just to warn you it is a bit of a bugger to get off. You'll need to remove all the plastic around the column and the indicator stalks to get behind it to give it a bit of a tap with hammer
woody 0 Posted September 14, 2004 Has anybody done this without removing the larger spline. or what the size of the larger spline is???
