I've stuck with VW since I foolishly traded a polo in for a f*rd esc**t (traded that for a golf 2 days later). 1989 polo 1.05 1992 polo 1.05 1990 Golf 1.3 1989 Golf driver 1.6 and now 1991 G60 :D :D I am 24 -
154,000 and still pulls like a train :D

I live in Ceredigion in West Wales, a fair distance from civalisation. The local vw specialist doesn't touch chargers. Does anyone know a decent garage to give my tired G60 a health check for a decent price without me having to drive half-way across the country and stay overnight? Could you also tell me what I should expect to pay for a charger overhall or rebuild. Thanks Chris

:( Those 2 bolts just turn and turn, the nuts welded onto the top of the bumper bar must have sheared off, so how do I get access to them?

I've got a 1991 g60 which I bought with light front end damage. I got a secondhand bumper with lights and bumper bar attatched off ebay but I cant work out how to get the old one off without dismanteling a sizable portion of my car. Can anyone help me ( I'd like to put the new one on compleate with the bumper bar as the old 1 is bent). Feel free to laugh and mock as I realise it's a bit lame not to be able to take a bumper off but any help would be much appriciated. ty Chris
