Hi, I have a few question in regards to my G60 engine. I've noticed a slight leak (its greenish in appearance) near the supercharger as illustrated in the picture. This leak has been there for quite some time (sine I've bought the car 6-7 months ago), and its had no bearing on the performance or the normal working order of the engine. Does anyone know if this is normal? Could it be a by-product of the supercharger? If not then what can I do to rectify this problem? The second question is that around this pipe (see pic 2) there is a slight leak. I thought it might be the pipe which has come out. I've tried to push it back in, but it will not go any further. What can I do to stop this leak? my final question is that when I bought this car it had a de cat done to it. My MOT is coming up for renewal at the end of October. Will the car pass? If not then what measures can I take to sort this out and get it to pass the MOT? are there any special liquids I can buy to lower the emissions? Thank you for your replies. :mad:

can any one tell me what the standard bhp is on the following corrado's? 1. 1.8 g60 2. 2.0 8v 3. 2.0 16v 4. 2.9 vr6 and can anything be done to increase the bhp on a 2.0 16v? if yes, then what can be done? keep it sensible lads. Cheers!

Theres a few things I would like to do with the outside of the car. The first thing is I want to de-handle the car. So how would I go about doing this? and how much would this cost? where would I buy the parts? I'm thinking of purchasing some coilovers, which make should i go for as I dont want to pay too much for this and where do you recommend buying them? Cheers lads.

The car seems to be min very good nik. But when I bought the car, the connector to the fan wasnt connected. Therefore the car started to heat up. This happened 2-3 times on the way home. This could have messed up the car big time. But the cars running fine now. Until the next time!!!

So what size pulley and chip would you recommend and by who? How much would this cost?

Hi yall...... Ive bought a K plate corrado, and its been sitting in my drive for ther last 4 months (waiting for insurance on my other car to run out). Its about time I done a few mods to the car as its totally standard. My first question is? 1. Where do I find a Bad Boy Bonnet extension?, as I dont want to purchase the eyelid. 2. I want to buy some phat rims, had a look around and I think I'll go for the flat look rims. Two companbies that do these rims are Centerline and Image. But their charging a packet. Does anyone know where to get cheaper imitations from? 3. last but least, the engine has been fitted with a stage 4 Jabba supercharger and a 68mm pully and chip by AMD (giving extra 20 bhp). Does anyone know what the car is pushing out in terms of BHP? If so whats the next step in terms of increasing the BHP, but at the sametime not creating a big whole in my pocket!! If you know your stuff then please email me. much apreciated lads...

At what temperature should I start worrying in regards to the oil? The Whole is on the rocker cover (I think). But should there be any whole?

HI I've just bought a corrado G60 and I just want a few questions answering. First of all, could any 1 tell me what the normal oil temperature of the car should be? The oil temperature on the car usually fluctuates between 98 degrees celcius to 108 degrees celcius when I'm driving. Is this normal for the car. If not, then what can I do to sort this problem out? The second problem is, there seems to be a screw or something missing from the oil chamber. When I was putting oil in the car, there was a small whole just near the cap and the oil was pouring out. Is this whole suppose to be there or do I need to fill it up with a screw or a rubber piece? what implications does this have on the engine? The final thing is that the spoiler just doesnt seem to work even if I press the switch. What checks do I need to make to sort this out. I would greatly appreciate if any 1 knows the answers to these questions. Thankyou for viewing.
