So after selling my VR6 18 months ago to fund self employment start up, I finally have funds and room for another corrado in my life. Anyone got a decent VR6 or valver up for reasonable money in reasonable condition?
-
That would be great, cheers
-
As long as I've got a decent starting point for repair I'd be happy with that
-
Northumberland mate, but I'm more than willing to travel to get a decent one

Hey guys, I'm in need of a drivers side wing for mine, starting to get desperate. Purchased 2 sets of carbon wings in the last 6 months and the finish on them have been absolute garbage. Decided to look for a tin one and wondering if anyone wants to sell me a decent one? Colour not important but a classic green one would be ideal.

Yeah, both of those fault codes have shown up since I bought it 3 years ago.

Anyone fancy chipping in for a 3D printer????

Thanks for replies everyone, found an ex VW mechanic local with the correct software to check.

I've got loads of decent prices for my C this year, £176 fully comp £0 excess. Thats with Admiral too, last year I paid £180 to Tesco..... I think Adrian Flux charged me £160ish -
Thanks for the reply, I'll have to take it somewhere that has VAGCOM and go from there I think. Cheers

They're not listed on their website?

Couldn't quite believe it myself, they insured me on an B plate 205 in white, even approved the pics of my, quite obviously green K plate Corrado...... -
Big dilemma, pay a racist in a country ran by a nutcase for front wings that don't rust? Hmmmm.... More to the point, why the hell does no one make them here in the UK?
-
I've been looking at those and they look the business, I emailed them some time ago and the problem is the Import/Export taxes apparently, it nearly doubles the price (or so I've been told) If Trump gets in there might be a silver lined trade deal...... here's hoping.

Ok guys, need a little advice if possible. About 2 months ago I took the C out for a blast to pick up some alloy wheels, 100 mile round trip. after about 70 miles, the ABS light came on and when I was sat at junctions/lights with the clutch in, there was a strange noise coming from the front end, a kind of grinding come spring twanging noise that only lasted a couple of seconds. It would only do it once and only when the clutch was in and I was stationary. Got the car home and for the next month the ABS light would intermittently come on until I'd stopped the car. Then it sometimes came on from start, sometimes not at all and sometimes mid-way through a journey. The last month or so it has been on constantly. The mystery grinding noise has never returned but I thought that might have been a clutch release bearing and unrelated to the ABS issue. I have fault checked the car and it came up with 0513 and 0525 which are seemingly unrelated to an ABS issue. The pedal is a little spongy but the brakes feel fine. I have checked the connections on the ABS sensors etc and seem fine. Any ideaswere to go next?

long story short, they were utter cack. Could have made better ones myself out of animal dung. I've sent them back and now looking at 3D printed arches, but as Corrado ownership goes, I have to sort other problems out first.....

I found Adrian Flux insurance to be the most incompetent bunch I have ever dealt with, They insured me on a 205 GTI instead of my Corrado 3 years ago. Drove around for a month with no insurance...... -
I'm having to pay £600 for one pair, the price at the start is for a bulk order, so if anyone wants them after pics etc. Then I'll see what I can do.

Hi, I'd be interested in the exhaust, minus the manifold (for the right price), what price you have in mind? -
Wanted. A single speedline alloy, will collect near tyne/wear/northumberland. Or pay postage if further afield.
