Final part of the conversion. Lots of parts Anti-roll fitted Wheels are waiting :) New vs old New brake disks from Leon Cupra R (323X28) Almost there Fitted Few pictures from a road trip (some b roads) Another addition was new struts (front and rear). The front are from eurosport and the rear is neuspeed. That's all for now, please tell me what you think.

So we started with the wings fitment Installed Hood: Look how much wider the wings with the old wheels: Because the wings are wider they don't sit nice with the front bumper, a friend of mine really wanted my bumper (because it's from a US Corrado) and gave me a good price so i got a new VR front bumper. The package was huge Assembly New vs old And how it sits now

Again long time with no updates.... Long time i wanted to do a 5X100 swap (plus suspension), so a while back i started collecting the parts for it. The first thing and the most crucial was wheels (i'm a wheels whore, i think it's my 4 set in this car... :) ) I managed to find a used BBS CH wheel in Germany at a good price and sent it here. They were already refurbished: But i didn't like the color combo with the car, so i had them repainted (powder coating) And with new rubber: New center caps and valve cover Because the front suspension is different i needed a new anti-roll bar, so i sold my to a friend (also with a Corrado) and bought a new KW anti-roll bars: Bought a used front subframe: The plus suspension is more than 2cm wider in each side and because of my Porsche calipers i needed spacers (10mm) so needed to find a solution to the front wings, found a company in Germany that produce wider front wings from fiberglass, they took a beating in the Israeli mail :( And the most fun part (which is not really needed) a carbon fiber hood To be continued...

While tuning the car we saw that even in low boost the intake temperature rise a lot during WOT (more than 40 degrees). My intercooler is a budget brand (Chinese) and was sort of adequate until now. The problem is that the Corrado is really ****ty car for force induction because of the lack of space for the intercooler (especially if you want to keep the original front bumper like me). So after a lot of measurement I've order a Garret intercooler core and Treadstone end tanks from the US. Old vs new Fitting the end tanks Test fitting Finally a bit of paint for stealth Pretty please from the final results but not 100% I'm curious about what setup do you use in the UK... Now the intake temp only rise a 5-10 degrees so the performance gain is notable.

Hi all, Been a really long time since the last update, finished the tuning, the car made 247 WHP and 35 WTRQ (KGM)@ full boost (1.4 bar) With low boost (0.7 bar) car made 197 WHP and 25.5 WTRQ While tuning we found that the current intercooler is not efficient enough for this power, more about that in the next post.

More updates. After my turbo build finished, i needed a tune to match, i was going to keep my AGU ECU but in the last minute I've got a really good deal on a Motec M84 ECU from a friend and decided to ditch the "stock" ECU and go with a standalone ECU. The ECU and wiring harness: In a moment of temporary insanity i decided to get a dash display, i thought i have to many gauges and they were scattered all over the dashboard.. So iv'e ordered an AIM MXL dash. Test fitted A friend of mine got it to work with the Corrado cluster (with carbon). Final result

From i've bought the Corrado it came with a nasty hit on the front bumper and lip, it looked like a fighter that been in to many fights  Here is a picture after a little straightening ive done a while back: I've ordered a 70mm lip from Spoon but the bumper and the metal piece that hold it to the bumper. Now straight:
