1. Update: Sourced front and rear seats, looking for black doorcards & carpet now.
2. As per above please, Ideally i'm looking for dark carpets/door cards/seats in good condition. Failing that i'll accept good condition carpets and a drivers seat in grey! Thanks Martin
3. First major update. The Corrado passed it's MOT today! The tester told me that the a headlamp adjuster was faulty so he rectified with a wedge of paper and a tyre received an advisory (will get paperwork tonight to confirm). I replaced a sidelight bulb on Sunday and fettled with a rear indicator bulb and that was it. Looking forward to selling my Polo and driving this around :)
4. Just read the matey-matey article on them. Think i'll upgrade in due course! Sounds like a straightforward changeover.
5. Hello all! Made a newbie thread last week - i'm new to Corrado's - been an avid owner of MK3 Polo's since 2006 and can also be found over on Club Polo as a staff member/moderator. Wasn't looking for a Corrado specifically, I was looking to replace the Polo - with another Polo but a Corrado came up for sale on eBay around 10 miles from me and I went to view and subsequently made an offer and bought the car! It was owned by a lad since July of this year, he couldn't afford to put any money into it and his dad wanted the garage back. Previous to that it was used daily for 3 and a half years by another owner. The MOT lapsed 10 days ago and I took ownership of it today. It's booked in for an MOT on Tuesday... Looking forward to establishing if it needs work doing and/or being able to start driving it! It's pretty clean and solid on the exterior, no rust or rot from what I can see - which makes a change to Polo's of this era! Interior-wise, it needs trim and I could do with a new drivers seat, or, a new interior but i'll see how I feel once Tuesday has been and gone. Engine seems fine - the idle screw on the throttle body was wound fully in and was idling around 500RPM, I adjusted to around 900RPM - is this the correct procedure or should I have adjusted it a different way? The Corrado is fairly standard bar an uprated headlight loom. The backbox is from an Audi apparently. Can anyone confirm if a Scirocco backbox will be a direct replacement? Anyway, time for some pics:
6. ^^ If the OP doesn't want this please let me know as i'll more than likely have it!
7. Thanks all. Getting collected on Sunday and (hopefully) MOT next week.
8. As per above, Looking to upgrade my bulbs but haven't got my car delivered yet so can't physically have a look myself. I think a bulb was gone so I may as well replace. Which bulbs for main & dipped, are they seperate or are they H4 all round? Read conflicting reports online. Thanks in advance!

VDO Gauges

Hi all, I have a set of oil pressure, oil temp & volt gauges doing nothing currently. I'm now looking to fit them to the Corrado when I get her. The main questions are: 1. Is there a centre console available which can fit 3 gauges, or even 2 gauges in if necessary? 2. Are there already oil pressure & temp senders in the engine? Engine is a 1.8 16v. Thanks!
10. Morning all, Just thought i'd drop in and say hello as I put a deposit on a 16v 1.8 Corrado yesterday. I've always had mk3 Polo's and currently have a 1.3 GT Breadvan - the Corrado should make a nice upgrade! I wasn't really looking for a new car however I was scouring eBay yesterday and came across this particular Corrado which was on my doorstep - went to view and did the deal there and then. The chap selling it said that his son bought it for them both to work on however his father just wanted the garage back! The MOT expired this week but before it was parked up for a few months it was in daily use. I'm a stranger to Corrado's, from what I gather it's original bar a new stainless exhaust. Don't have plans for her as of yet, getting her MOT'd is a priority - it's my plan to driver through Dartmoor in it by the end of the year. I'm into my OEM styling so I may keep her clean and upgrade a few items as and when.
