Hey thanks for your replies. The insurance is about the same for me with a 182 and a vr6 around £2500 as I'm only 20. Was going to pay around that anyway for the 182 so that doesn't bother me. Yeah you don't see many Corrados on the street so it will certainly be a head turner which my Dad has told me about,so that's always a plus! Thanks for all your help anyway and if I do purchase one I'll be sure to let you know about it!

Hi, just signed up to this site as I'd like to know some more about the Corrados. I'm thinking about buying one when I get my 2years no claims bonus as I have always liked them since I first saw two in Stourbridge by the Train Station near where I used to live (Do they belong to anyone on here?) I'm torn between the Renault Sport Clio 182 and a Carrado. As I already have a 1.2 Clio and have asked around on ClioSport. I'd like to know a little more about the Carrados, like are they reliable and all the usual info. I should have no trouble on the maintenence as my Dad used to own two Scirrocos when he was in his youth and he says they're pretty much the same. Thanks for any help :)
