MOT was done last month full engine rebuild 1500 miles ago 200-220bhp 106k miles tax untill 31/03.14 37-42mpg usually i have seen up to 47 on a very long run Spec - - forged pistons - forged piston wrings - uprated injectors - front mount intercooler - oil cooler - water cooler - polly bushed - Spax springs and shocks - refurbished super charge (Gwerks) - medium charger pully. - braided brake lines - silver painted gear box - red painted engine bay - uprated chip - blue engine hoses - K&N induction kit - NGK platinum tipped plugs - Magnecor HT Leads - black diamond drilled and grooved front disks - Ferodo front pads - full stainless exhaust -decat - High lift cam - race head - Audi R8 Oil cap - Lenso split alloys (not sure if their genuine) - Uprated fuel pressure regulator - Dot 5.1 brake fluid - 15w50 millers nano tec oil - Smoked rear lights - Smoked side repeaters - working spoler - working sun roof - Karmin sound system - Lowered - new MOT - Power steering fluid change - new Power steering belt - coolant flush and refill - Gtechniq coating - Waxed wheels - Immobilizer The car is in IMMACULATE condition for its age. it has a small dent in passenger side door from where someone has opened their door into it not bad though, their is a small bit of lacquer peeling on the rear bumper but very hard to see unless you look really close. their is some very small rust bubbles on the roof and around the filler cap and a small bit near the scuttle pannle. any rust on the car is only surface rust and and could easily be left or touched up. Got loads of extra parts that the buyer can have for £100 Car located in Skye but will travel if fuel is paid for before i leave I am after a Ford Focus st2 or st3 so i would consider a px with cash your way if you have one? Car is priced a £2500 but i am open to offers.

Hi folks I was on my way to a job in my vw corrado g60 1991. when i was going to purchase the car it didnt have tax or mot so i paid for that before i went to pick it up. ive only had it a month so the mot is only a month old. now i was on my way to a clients house when a police car came up behind me with their blues and wanted me to pull in. i got out to speak to them and the passenger police man came over to talk and before introducing him self or anything he told me to start my car. so i started it and he said turn it off it was on for no more than 5 secs. i didnt even manage to get my head out the car before he said turn it of. yes it was a little loud but i had just had the burst fixed yesterday by a qualified mechanic on a 2 poster ramp.the burst was where the manifold joins the exhaust system. its loud but not its not a standard system way quieter than a few scoobies so to speak. the police man walked back to his car and said im going to write you a "PG9 Prohibition notice" for having no mot i said back straight away "it is MOTed i had it done a month ago" his reply was" you dont anymore ive just stripped it" my immediate reaction was no need to be a Prick he didnt have to be so cocky about it i didnt say that though of course. I kept my cool and he took me into the back of his car and explained that he has stripped the MOT off my car because it has a hole in it somewhere. he said that their is exhaust fumes leaking into my car but he never even opened a door. now it is decat but its cat back its a 91 plate am i not right in saying its exempt from having a cat due to its age? I tried to argue my case but he threatened me with 3 points and a big fine. i didnt say anything but im 100% sure is was a boost hose that is a common mod on the G60 to remove. all i want to know is where do i stand? if i manage to get the hose and reconnect it do i still have to get a re mot or what? any help would be great thank you. he has completely stripped my mot his words he says i need a full new mot, surley the exhaust only needs to be checked by a mot tester

hi folks ive just serviced my g60 because 1 it was in need and 2 it was running a little rough. will changing the DISTRIBUTOR CAP help or is it worth doing? ive changed the plugs but not the leads but to my knowllage their uprated ones anyway. whats your thoughs?

haha yeah is it a green one? nothing wrong works perfectly it was sent to gwerks for a rebuild. i bought the car from a pal. hes done all the work with forgeing it and the high lift cams etc etc... he just never got round to getting the bigger charger. so after ive got the wee niggly things fixed thats what i am aiming for plus a water meth injection kit :D

hi folks i have just posted in the newbie section. i have just picked up my corrado g60 as far as i am aware its stage 4 minus the the bigger charger and smaller pully and the custom live map chip. it is in despare need of a service. i want to use the best parts possible. but i am a little unsure what sort of oil is best to use in the car? cheers robaidh
