  1. I think that the octane rating is actually higher than Unleaded as its designed to replace the old 4 star. As you say the problem will be that the lead substiture will damege the cat. Jonathan '94 VR6
  2. If it's like a typical sump plug, they have a slight taper on them so they just get tighter and tighter. Jonathan
  3. The 2 hoses you need are: 021133990K and 021133988K They are £29.57 each plus vat from VW. Easy to fit, you just need to remove the air filter and MAF assembly to get access to where the rubber pipes join the hard plastic pipes. Remove the original spring clips with pliers and replace with jubillee clips (use proper "smooth" clips not the crappy Halfords ones with the worm drive as these will damage your new pipes). 4. Motor World do them and probably Halfords. HTH Jonathan '94 VR6
  5. Mine has done this since I bought it 4 years and 40k miles ago. The cat is still fine and I don't wory about it any more. VAG-com shows nothing other than an occasional '00537 -lambda regulation 11-10 control limit not reached (or exceeded) interittent)'. I have put it down to a slightly leaky injector and don't worry. 6. If you give me an idea of what you are trying to do, I can probably tell you whether VAG-Com can do it or not. Jonathan '94 VR6
