1. ***I CAN'T UPLOAD IMAGES FOR SOME REASON SO PLEASE SEE MY EBAY CLASSIFIED ADVERT FOR LOADS OF IMAGES IF NOT GIVE ME A SHOUT AND I'LL EMAIL THEM TO YOU*** http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291164169392?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 Satin Silver 1994 “M” Corrado factory 2.9 VR6 190bhp, this is not a shoddy thrown together conversion, it's the real deal Don't confuse this with the lesser powered far inferior Golf MK3 VR6 - I had one before this for about 2 weeks and this is worlds apart in terms of handling and sheer power, so much so that I scrapped the MK3 and bought this! Rare satin silver - not many around in this colour £1650 – located Bradford Cheap to insure - Costs me less than £200 quid to insure on a classic policy and my postcode makes Beirut look safe! Not as thirsty as you may think - easy does 35mpg on the commute to work with 20 miles of stop start driving 126,200 miles, won't rise by much as I only use the car once or twice a week tops Loads of history and receipts filed in A4 ring binder Comes with original VW owners manual/book pack in proper VW wallet with service booked stamped up to about 105k, receipts for services thereafter Taxed until October 2014, MOT until November 2014 I have owned this car since January this year and was intended to use as a fun/2nd car to take to the VW shows but unfortunately I have just had to have my house re-roofed so the Corrado has to go to free up some cash Engine and gearbox/clutch absolutely spot on, pulls hard through the gears with no nasty noises rattles or smoke The sound from the 2.9 VR6 is absolutely awesome even with the standard exhaust and cat still fitted Performance cone filter Never been welded underneath, been up on the ramps and inspected by a local VAG specialist and it’s rock solid Interior is very good black cloth with no rips tears or burns to seats or carpets Fully adjustable coilover suspension (less than 200 miles old) with new top mounts fitted at the same time, copper greased with adjusting spanner included. Set at a sensible ride height so's not to scrub the tyres but it will go much lower (or higher if you wish!) 288mm brake upgrade from 1997 MK3 Golf VR6 with brand new front pads and flexi hoses, much better stopping power than the standard 280mm brakes and really fill the wheels up 16" Genuine VW Polo Sport Barcelona wheels freshly refurbished in matt black, look smart and never seen a Corrado with these fitted Very rare USA rear numberplate tub, very hard to get hold of and worth £70+ on it's own Amber Lamin-X on front indicators (peels off if it's not your thing) De-wipered at rear - looks much better and makes the rear less cluttered Both front headlamps perfect condition no chips cracks or broken clips Front fogs work fine Electric rear spoiler works fine Electric mirrors work fine Electric windows work fine Electric sunroof tilts and slides fine (All the above points are common Corrado weak spots and I've spent a lot of time and money getting them working as they should - why have the creature comforts if they don't work?) Just had a new battery tray professionally welded in and painted, this had started to show signs of rust so I bit the bullet and got it fixed at quite a cost Pioneer MP3 stereo One key fits all locks A few known issues as follows (reflected in the low asking price) Intermittent water leak from the thermostat housing (cheap easy fix) sometimes it leaks, then it won't leak again for a few days Crack in windscreen right at the bottom corner (£50-£75 quid to replace through your insurance, and if I get the full asking price I'll pay for this repairing through my insurance) Central locking does not work, I haven't had chance to look at this as it never really bothered me ABS light stays on (its been off the road since it last MOT up to the beginning of May this year so I suspect a sensor is at fault, sensors are about £20) Few age related marks, stone chips, odd few scuffs and paint peel to be expected with a 20 year old car. Still polishes up nice and turns a few heads Tyres will need changing at some point in the future, still legal as it stands Brakes are not as sharp as I'd like however I'm comparing them to my 2 year old daily driver so probably an unfair comparison. Pads are brand new so probably need time to bed in and I bled the brakes in a hurry when I fitted the new brake pipes so could probably do with being bled again Since fitting the coilovers the tracking could probably do with being set up Chin spoiler cracked in a couple of places (was cracked when I got it at standard ride height and being lowered certainly hasn't helped) Give me a shout to arrange a viewing
2. As above, must be in good condition and suitable for late spec car.

7. Has to be one of the most irritating things I have ever seen introduced to a car forum, pleeeeease get rid of it and revert back to the old method of advertising! Funnily enough since advertising on here using the cursed Panjo popup (after trying about a dozen times to get it to work) I've suddenly started being bombarded with spam emails, co-incidence? Rant over
8. Fixed! Moved the loom out the way to fit my battery tray and it looks like the loom had slipped under the cable at the front stopping it from moving far enough to engage reverse. So all good.
9. Definitely. Mines deleted with a rubber bung and looks a thousand times better. You could opt for a bung if your unsure however if it's in the body shop it would make sense to do it properly
10. Finally got my vr6 on the road after laying dormant, and after a 5 mile drive home it won't engage reverse. Stick feels exactly as it should and engages all other gears as it should, stick pushes down and across into reverse position however engages first. Now with most things online there is lots of conflicting info relating to this, some say adjust at shifter end some say adjust at box end with the cables. Anyone got a definitive answer on how to fix it? Cheers all
11. As mine splintered when I undid it (which actually tightened it as I had no idea it was reverse threaded)

14. Satin Silver 1994 “M” Corrado VR6 £1500 firm – located Bradford 126k miles Loads of history and receipts SORN, MOT until November 2014 Good points: Engine and box absolutely spot on, pulls hard with no known issues Cone filter Never been welded underneath, been up on the ramps and it’s rock solid Interior is very good (will be cleaned prior to sale) Coilovers (less than 200 miles old) 288mm brake upgrade from 1997 MK3 Golf VR6 with brand new front pads and flexi hoses 17” MK4 Golf Santa Monica wheels US spec rear numberplate tub Amber Lamin-X on front indicators Electric rear spoiler works fine Just had a new battery tray welded in and painted Bad points: No stereo Crack in windscreen right at the bottom corner where the bonnet slipped back and caught it on removal Driver’s EW temperamental, worked fine prior to parking it up 3 months ago though Sunroof does not tilt or slide (sale includes a known working sunroof motor and switch) Central locking inoperative (not even looked at this) Driver’s front wing rusty around indicator hole (sale includes a solid secondhand wing, this needs minor repair and paint) ABS light stays on (been parked up pretty much since it’s last MOT so I suspect a sensor is at fault) Paint is generally scruffy – both bumpers have paint peel, passenger front door has a scratch and paint has lifted, odd pin dent here and there, couple rust scabs/rubbish paint on driver’s front wing, stone chips on bonnet. No rust on anything that can’t be unbolted though In summary it’s a cheap, solid VR6 which with a bit of TLC to the outside has the potential to be a really nice car. I’ve factored in the known issues with the asking price so not prepared to take offers on it as it stands, I’m losing money on it as it is. I daresay it would break for more but I’m not prepared to pull it apart as it’s far too good IMO Inbox or reply for more details/to view
15. Can collect round West Yorkshire or north east if not will require postage.
16. I've tried to take into account the fact that one needs a refurb with my pricing, on reflection I've probably not asked enough for em. That said the price remains at 100 collected or 130 posted to your door
17. Not at all, ebay listing states the buy it now price which incidently is dearer than what I have em advertised here for.
18. Not sure what the "correct" size should be, they came on the car. But oh well, they fit fine and can be changed if it bothers you that much ☺
