I recently picked up a 90 G60 Corrado and I was hoping to meet some other VW peeps through this forum. I've mostly owned japanese cars up till now (and one BMW), but my first car at the age of 18 was actually an 81 Scirroco 'S', and I had a 93 VR6 Rado a couple years back as well. Mostly I've worked as a mechanic, but now I have a smog technicians license and am almost finished with a degree in automotive technology. I want to start a custom fabrication business someday. At the moment I slang car parts... My love for driving started on the back roads, which progressed into auto-x and rally-x racing. I was a high performance driving instructor at Thunderhill, as well as a drifting judge/coach. I was also pit crew on a few SCCA racecars. Someday I will get my racing license and compete in some kinda track competition... leaning towards time attack or something like hill climb.
