And believe it or not, she passed the MOT. No advisories. I'm extatic. All she needs now is a good ol' service. Also, the overheating issue is now gone, I think it was because of the duff battery and the fan not kicking in. It's been revved for the emissions for 10-15 min standing still and didn't overheat so I think that's a good sign. I figured out the wiring for the spoiler as well, and realised it was unplugged, so I plugged'er back in, and voila, Active spoiler is Active again.... I'll whore it a bit more. Mine looks like it had a rather lovely life before being locked away. Thank you for the nice comments. I'm really looking forward to having her on the road.

Been on ramps today. It took 5 people and lots of bits of wood, in the end 2 people grabbed each side and lifted the front on the four poster ramp. Think she's a bit low... The good news is she's absolutely mint underneath. MOT Tech couldn't find anything to pick on. So hopefully she'll be MOTd tomorrow. I can now sleep at night again. Fingers crossed. P.s.: I had a massive grin as people gathered around it. Customers, employees and pretty much even people walking by had a quick look. Most didn't know what it was. Yeah, not a car for shy people this one. Love it. L.e.: all this while phone kept going off, girlfriend cheering on: "GO RRADO GOOO!!!"

So, a few weeks ago my girlfriend spotted this black vw in a carport very well hidden. Fast forward 4long weeks, and this is now the new pride and joy. Hi, some of you might've seen me trying to find a Corrado on this forum, I posted on here saying I'm trying to find the owner etc etc... Anyway, fast forward 2 weeks, and we're the very very very proud new owners (me & girlfriend) of her. She's a 2.0 16V, she drives lovely, although she's been stood for 4 years. Come Monday she's going for an MOT to see what needs doing. Only 1 picture as I'm an idiot, and left her without taking a few more detailed shots. Sorry..... First of all, Hello everyone, I'm new here. Unfortunately I've never been lucky enough to own a Corrado yet. My uncle used to own one when I was a kid, man that car was awesome. Back to my point. My girlfriend spotted a Corrado last week, poking out of a small carport about 15 miles away from where we live. So we went back there, and after a few hours searching for the place we finally found it. Unfortunately nobody lives in the place anymore. We spoke to someone who lives nearby, and asked them if they knew who lived there or who owned the car, and all we got was that a bloke goes round every now and then and keeps the place tidy. Does anyone know the owner of a black corrado just outside of Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire? It looks lowered, but I could be wrong. I know this is a very long shot, but I'm desperately searching all VW forums I can find. I've got the Reg of the car but I wouldn't want to make it public just in case it would upset someone. Any ideas to how I could even begin to search? Is there a database of all corrados registered on this forum? Any help or clues would be great. I'm a helpless loser when it comes to Corrados, I just can't help it, this mad urge to find the owner, hope to god he doesn't want more money than I can afford. It's had the same owner since 2010, sadly it's also been Sorn since 2010. So I don't think the current owner got to enjoy this car for too long.
