Hi guys Ok so symtoms are, Hesitation when pulling off ( some times ) Random loss of power while driving Black smoke Ive replaced: 1m vac line Fitting 3.5 fpr Replaced ecu complete with chip to suit stage 4 charger New lambda New co pot. The only thing I have noticed just now is that I have a blowing exhaust between the head and the o2 sensor, now I know this will effect the readings but unsure if it could cause the car to run as bad as it is? Either way im pretty fed up of g60s now

Hi guys As title really, have a spare alternator ( 65 amp I think) in ny garage ans quite fancy doing a diy rebuild so need the bosch number to source parts Cheers Kyle

Hi guys Been having a few problems recently with my g60. Basically I fitted a 68mm pulley when I had my charger rebuilt, after around a week I started noticing a belt noise so started investigating, this is where I might struggle to explain. Basically when looking down at the charger I can clearly see that the belt rides in to the inner edge of the idler pulley below, so clearly misaligned, when the engines off the belt seems to move over on the idler but still looks out of align. Ive now to removed the 6pk1640 belt that I fitted as the tensioner was at full compression what doesn't seem right? And fitted the old belt what has stopped the noise but it does look mis aligned still Just wondering if any ones had this before as its puzzled me a bit?

Hi In desperate need to get a alternator pulley on my g60. Pm or comment with any details is you have one. Cheers Kyle

Picked up the charger from jabba today at 12, excellent service couldn't fault them, nice friendly honest people:) Even went to the effort of showing me the next one his rebuilding to show me how they work and what work is carried out on a stage 4:) Thought id tell every one my experience:)

Haha yes there is at least 1 positive from the whole thing. although this wasnt a misunderstanding, 12 was agreed in advance.

Hi Not exactly sure where you got 9am from as I called you at 12.15 after realising you wernt there? Im sure your just mistaken;) The reason I didnt answer your call was I was already doing the 2 hour drive home after waiting a while, hense why I called you back when I got home.

Hi guys Hadnt heard of jmr mentioned before, bit late now any way lol as I dropped it off at jabba for a stage 4 this morning, seemed like nice friendly people and genuine but ive heard the stories so ill report back with my findings:) Pretty disappointed with OCD tbh, arranged a week before hand to drop off the charger at 12 on monday, with me supply the 11mm belt as he didnt have any in stock, got told on the friday before that the original 5 day turn around may not be possible ( I understand its a 1 man show but annoying none the less ). Any way made the 2 hr trip down the m1 and he wasnt open, called, left message, waited 45 min, gave up and booked in at jabba. Any way guys ill report back when I get the charger back on sat:)

Hi guys Problem is still here Have now fitting new co pot, set to co pot to 600 ohms, have tried various settings but doesnt seem to alter running in any way Replaced 1m ecu line Still running bad, if not worse ( kept hesitating massively when trying to pull off) So ive unplugged the lambda and now no more hesitation but still seems to be running rich. At the moment im thinking possible lambda failure or maybe ecu? The earth that goes from top of inlet to coil bracket had a resistance of 35 ohms so I changed it, I hear that can cause ecu failure? Whats every one think I should try next?

Is the supercharger available? -
Ok so ive been looking for a standard fpr but I cant find one so plan b is that as im planning to have the charger rebuilt+chip to suit I thought id get a 3.5 bar reg but they appear to be a completely style, how/where are they normaly fitted? Cheers Kyle

Hi guys Think my chargers due a rebuild as it only makes about 9 psi even with a 70mm pulley, has some oil on the pressure side of the intake and evidence that the induction kit that was fitted was letting debris into the charger. Currently the car has some form of ecu chip(unknown details) 70mm pulley adjustable fpr (unknown details) Plan is: OCD chip suited to car 68mm pulley 3.5bar fpr Stage 2 OCD charger or stage 4 jabba charger whats every ones opinions? Jabba are local so obv thats a plus but there does seem some bad rep about them. the OCD stage 3 interests me as well but by the sounds of it I cant use it u less I have some much more serious mods?

Hi guys As title really, need a 90mm splitter and a standard fuel pressure regulator for my 91 g60. Pm me with details ( if any happens to know where to buy a fpr new I would appreciate them letting me know) Cheers
-
Co pot arrives today ( bought from your selfs ) Hmm ok from the car does have a 70mm pulley but only manages 9 psi so its basically standard so maybe the fuel reg can be adjusted down ? Or am I really just better of binning it for a standard one?
-
Ah thank, the reason I ask us that im having rich running problems, not sure if this ciuld have a possible effect?
-
Just wondering if what this is? Wondering if its standard?
-
Hi guys As title really, spotted this t peice like thing is split just wondering if theres a proper nNe for it? Also where can I get one of these? cheers
-
Id be intrested in the splitter and the coilovers, depending on there age and price
-
Haha thank you, dont spose you do discount for forum members?
-
Is the co pot sensor available? If so please pm me:)
-
Haha I know, guessing some one couldbt be asked to try source a replacement, any advice as to where I may find a replacement?
-
Any help on checking the lambda sensor? Does the fact it made no change unplugging it mean it is at fault?

Started new thread due to changes Hi guys Recently got myself a g60 with 126k on the clock Seem to be having a mixture of problems, ill explain -lumpy idle -strong exhaust smell, also smells of petrol when cold. - smoking under load and slightly at idle, looks black but hard to tell -temp gauge only goes to 70c (oil reads 100c so pretty sure engine is at full temp) -hesitation at low revs/low throttle -seems recutant to rev from idle. So far all I have checked: -blue temp sensor, 193 ohms after a 45 min drive. Think it should be between 170-220 at operating temp so seemss good. Idled worse when unplugged. -Earth's, havebt done any here other than test between the head and the batterys neg terminal what was 1.2 ohm, what seems fine. Replaced earth from throttle body to bulk head due to a high ish resistance -unplugged lambda sensor, made no change to running. Possible cause? -batt voltage at idle when running, 13.8v. -co pot sensor missing, plugged 500 ohm resistor into ( what I thinks the wiring for it) and made no difference to the running -changed black temp sensor to try cure gauge reading 70c, no change but have noticed it hits 90c when idling so expect stat is stuck open. -tested boost using mfa, made 1630 at 6000rpm, what seems bad considering it has a 70mm pulley (well a receipt for one? - Checked vac lines, nothing found, going to trace a mew 1m one just incase ive gave the car a full service and removed the induction kit but no change, it also seems to be getting worse:( Planning to change thw cam belt at the weekend so will check the crank pulley Any advice guys?
