There is a chance that mine's been bored, the guy who had it before me had defo spent some serious dolla on this engine. She drives fantastic so I'm really happy :-)

It is a slight shame it's not the original engine, but it is a very good engine, so I'm lucky really. Hope it don't make too much difference in the speed lol

I totally love it She's getting some tlc with a re spray and a few little mods like a 6 branch manifold etc. Getting her ready for retro dubs meet in suffolk next month. Ps I've called her Roxanne :-)

Just been looking at what my engine code is on my corrado vr6 (1994 on L) and found that it's AAA 0796517. I've been told by a friend that my original 2.9 engine must have been replaced with a 2.8 coz the engine code is wrong.. is that true? :-(

Surprisingly it turns out that the alarm is perfect and it's the alternator thats the problem.. I have a brand new alternator from my old 2.8 v6 audi a6, will this fit on my vr6? Thank you

Would those things drain the battery that quick? It drains within an hour or 2 and battery gets hot!.. I've used 3 different batteries n still no joy.

Hi guys, just got my first vw and she's a sexy corrado vr6.. Buuut, as soon as u park it up, the battery is drained completely and it seems like it's something to do with the toad alarm.. maybe? Seems like the alternator is doing its job fine and the stereo is defo wired up properly. If anyone's got any other suggestions and/or solutions, the help would be much appreciated. . Thanx ☺
