1. VW Corrado G60 - 1.9 TDI 90BHP (1Z) Conversion For sale is my appreciating classic Volkswagen Corrado G60 with 1.9 TDI (1Z) 90BHP Engine Conversion. Let me begin by saying that this vehicle is in excellent condition for a 24 year old car but like all old cars there are a few age related marks and issues that will need attention if you are looking to get the car to show standard but it is perfectly suitable as an everyday driver as it is. The bodywork is in excellent condition showing no signs of rust at all. The chassis, sills, wings and boot are also solid and rust free. The car has been in my family for over 10 years and was in storage for 6 years when the supercharger gave up. It was then fitted with a 1.9TDI 90BHP 1Z Engine from a MK3 Golf with approximately 130K on the clocks to get it back on the road. The G60 engine/chassis had covered 120,324 before the TDI conversion, it has now had diesel clocks fitted for the different rev counter which read 187,653. These clocks were sourced after the TDI engine was fitted from a different vehicle so do not reflect the mileage of the engine which has been installed. The TDI engine was fully serviced, all belts replaced, timing and fuel adjusted accordingly and a new VR6 clutch kit fitted. The engine and gearbox run smoothly and boosts well with very little smoke and is surprisingly torquey for a 90BHP engine, the larger inter-cooler and stainless exhaust system definitely improve this. I have fitted a ?plug in? VP37 tuning box to give a bit of extra power which basically fools the car into throwing more fuel into the engine, although it does add power they are a bit crude in their operation and are no substitute for a custom re-map, chips and bigger injectors which would transform the engine, this was next on my ?to do? list before I decided to sell. The coil-over suspension is firm and handles like it is on rails but it is not too hard and has been set for the UK roads and just manages to get over speed bumps with a little care. The car has had lots of money spent on it in the past and has been well looked after, it just needs a few small inexpensive jobs completing to bring it back to its former glory and would make a great car for any VW enthusiast. The car also qualifies for classic car insurance. Details ? Registered 1991 (H Reg) ? Still registered as a 1.8 G60 on log book. ? 8 Former Keepers (V5 Present) ? MOT?d ? FSH ? 2. Yes that Clipper is a peach, i used to have one pretty much identical to that with polished rivage wheels, wish i'd kept it now. Fitted a Weber carb then headgasket went so ended up selling it for peanuts, wish i had just chucked a gti lump in it but needed the money at the time :(
3. If by any chance someone on the forum has a nice VW Golf Clipper/Cabriolet or MK2 Golf for sale and looking to buy a Corrado, i would be very interested in a straight swap for the right car.
4. Cheers, has a few nice mods, ronal turbos, coil-overs, full stainless, twin pass intercooler, filter, cream leather interior and of course the tdi conversion :)

7. So have these been fitted to your corrado or not? Surely the blade will have already been cut if they were fitted, i am interested in buying them but want to make sure they will fit as i have always been under the impression it was x2 drivers side arms used? Thanks, Richard
8. As per title, can anybody help? Looking for a Front Passenger N/S Indicator (Early Model) to fit Corrado G60, must be in excellent condition free from cracks, stone chips etc. Thanks, Richard
