Need help..... Ive managed to finally get the heater box away from the car. took longer than I wanted but hey nothing wrong with taking your time. Anyway. New heater matrix in place only one question.. I have two parts that came with the new matrix that I cant work out where they go. a small white plastic er... object. and a rectangular piece of foam. Any ideas????

Grrr. just parking up at work this morning, heard some strange gurgling then given a front row seat to the best steam purge show a corrado could ever produce. just glad I have the AA so i can tow the poor thing home. So those pictures would be a godsend - looks like my easter bank holiday will be busy

i was, but when i spoke to them, they where v v arrogant and unhelpfull. so ill b looking elsewher 1st b4 i try them again. i wouldnt recommend them but as the only vw dealer-ish on the island my choices are limited.. grrrr :x

Have all my parts now, just waiting on my shocks to be delivered (end of the week). nice set of silverline x coilovers :) couple of questions if I may?? GSF sell a braided brake line kit but the girl wasnt 100% convincing that this was for the corrado - tho it was for a VR6. Will this be alright for mine?? mine is a 92 VR6.. Also, can any one think of any other parts I may need prior to me fitting this lot.. (top mounts, spacers etc...)

Im waiting for my new toys - Silverline-X coilovers. when these arive I plan to do the breaks/bearing etc. at the same time (well not me but a mechanic friend of mine) So far I have picked out the following from GSF 60200F BRAKE DISC-BREMBO'MAX' CO VR6 34.50 x2 60342 BRAKE DISC-REAR(5 STUD) B CO VR6 19.15 x2 64325F BRAKE PAD SET-PAG.FAST RD CO VR6 8/91 32.50 x1 64601F BRAKE PAD SET-RE FAST RD CO 9/88 26.50 x1 41224K WHEEL BEARING KIT-FRONT CO VR6 8/91 21.50 x2 41311K WHEEL BEARING KIT-REAR CO 9/88 6.75 x2 hopefully I have choosen OK. I also know I will probably need top mounts etc anything else that I will definately need?? Thanks..

You might also find that the rear beam bushes have failed. thats what happend to mine. worst thing was.... £300.. was expecting it to be more like £200 but the bolts etc where well and truly seezed.

Just been browsing arround gsf webpage and spotted their offer on the brembo discs but not sure which ones to get :? http://www.gsfcarparts.com/brembo any help?? wheels are 16's. i would have guessed the 280mm also, would i be better getting the OEM ribbed belt or would the one on gsf do?? Fanks...

Can any kind souls find the top hose part number. :?: Tried http://www.gsfcarparts.com/ but was no help locating it. Dealer(ish) here on the island can order it but not at £72+vat. surely it can be gotton cheaper Damm thing decided to split on me this morning coverying my engine bay in nice hot steamy water. grrr See Pic Oh where can I get the tool for those damm clips. fingers arnt made for that sort of thing. Sorry, forgot. car is 1992 Vr

I had a similar fault on my old golf. Took of the door card (drivers side) and checked all the wiring. looked OK. so I unclipped the cable bundle and saw that it had got water into the contacts. Dried this and worked perfect ever since.

My battery is on its last legs and I need to get a replacment. I want to get a bosch silver but there are no stockists that I can find on the IOM - or that would be able to deliver without high delivery prices The best local stockists can offer is either a Lucas or Exide. prices are about £45 any other recomendation to the bosch????? and what rating etc should I be looking for? Thanks

Roads where a bit on the crap side but still managed to reach 125 before some prat in a BMW 5 series decided to move into the middle the road so I couldn't pass him Grrr.
