I've also seen a diy bleed kit fashoned out of one of those garden spray bottles but to make one would prob cost about the same. http://www.bmw-m.net/TechProc/bleeder.htm

Just back from service and VW have told me I need to replace the front brake flexis and bleed system. - I take it the flexis are just the brake hoses??? Bleeding the brakes - easy??? what do I need etc.??? Also rear Axle bushes need changing, whats involved??? been quoted £440 :( for the above so going to attempt as much as I can.

I just been lookin about for more styles and found this web site. http://www.tirerack.com Click "Upgrade garage" and "enter Upgrade Garage". Then pick your car /year etc. an finally pick wheels. Here you'll get a side profile of the corrado, simply click on the wheel you like and it will give you an idea of what they might look like. You can even choose the colour of the car.

Had a quick look on the ol internet and found these (see attached) for about £535ish any photoshop gurus out there wave there magic wand. I would love to see what they would look like on the corrado. What would you ppl recommend for the same sort of cash?

Just rang the asking about prices etc from local VW garage. been quoted £54. Is this about right? Also the parts guy I was speaking to said that these arms etc are "very similar to the MK4 golfs" is this true??? good thing is, they're in stock so me will be looking at fitting these at the weekend.

Have the same problem. Ive traced mine to the badge - clip is damaged and is missing the gromet. First noticed it when I was washing/cleaning the car for the first time. Any suggestions what I could use to seal it?

I was too late in getting V76 MAN and it would have only cost me about £55ish :( (IOM plates end/start with MAN or MN)

I dont want to go to lancaster, last time I put my golf in for a service they did a 20k service even though I asked for 10k. and charged me £250. Also.... The reverse light switch was faulty so I asked for a new one - they tried to charge me £12 to fit it. £12 for a I complained, but their attitude was "So....." About about a week later I got a phone call from their "after sales team" - they asked me was I happy about the work they had just done. HAPPY - was I F^*K happy. What I said must have been to the right people because within about 10 min I got a phone call from the manager of corkills, offering to go halfs on the work for the reverse light switch - I told him not to insult me and to "politely" shove where the sun dont shine. They later had the cheek to send me a letter advising me that I hadnt paid and will take further action - even though I paid and they signed and dated my invoice. Bunch of Tw@ts. I would never recommend corkils / lancaster for service Im going to take the C to Eurocars, where the prevous owner used to get it serviced. Putting £250 aside - hopefully that should cover it.
-
My C is due for a service this month and as this will be the first service since I've had the car, I was wondering how much I should budget for :?: The car has just over 64400 miles and has full service history (not all VW tho).
-
Getting to know the car a bit now, with the odd blast over 100 :) so im not expecting anywhere near as many miles this time round :(
-
I was looking at how many miles etc I got out of full tank (new car/toy etc) and looking at the mfa2 I had 324 miles at 26-7ish mpg. - is this average? My old golf Gti Mk3 would do 350ish on full tank so im quite supprised as I thought is would be a lot less. Once I get used to the car this will probably drop :(
