so to really i need a golf g60 intercooler??? or can i just get a custom one like the one on ebay above?? Cheers

I am not to worried about the piping as i can get that sorted at a later date as long as i have a slight chance of fitting that sort of size cooler in then i know what to look for as i ve given up lookin for golf intercoolers and havent got the wad to £700 for the jabbasport kit :D Cheers mate i will keep an eye out to see how much it goes for and maybe bid for it...... 8)

Rite i have a Corrado G60 and over the past few weeks i have noticed that the temperature showing on the gauge rises to 110 degrees!! though the oil temp remains at around 94 degress? i woz expecting the car to go nuclear at these temps so i got thinking.... and thought maybe its the thermostat so ive changed that and the coolant but it still climes to 110 Degrees!! also sumtimes when its really hot the coolant light comes on? but i have plenty of coolant in the tank?? the fan comes on but it only seems to come on at one speed , i thought there where 2 speeds, would this indicate a fault with the thermoswitch? Oh and recently i have changed the black temp sender aswell. Could it be anything else? i have heard that the small tube going from the rad to the expansion tank can get blocked? Any help would be great!! Cheers

I have just had the exact same problem on my mk2 golf gti, i ve checked the fuses (all ok) the indicators flash when activated?? could it be the relay maybe?? Help....

Where can i get some new exhaust hanger rubbers for my g60 (bar type) i think mine have pretty much had it now! can i get them from GSF or VW ?? How Much for a full set ?? Do vw do the reinforced ones for the bar type hanger rubbers ? Cheers Mike

Which is the overall better system in terms of quality, Sound, performance etc? I have heard lately that milltek is going downhill in terms of build quality?? I am intending to fit the system on my Corrado G60 and wondered if there where people with previous experience with the above Systems?? Cheers

I dont want to sound completely stupid but i am trying to order a milltek cat back system for my K reg Corrado G60. i have been told that there are 2 systems? a pre 92 post 92 system both with different hangers? now i have looked underneath my car and i cant really tell if i have the hook or bar type hangers ( Not to sound Completely Thick!!!! :oops: ) Is there a noticable difference between the two combinations? According to the godly magazine... :-) MAX POWER.... The 0-60 for a corrado g60 is 8.9 seconds! i didnt think they where that slow when standard?? then again i suppose 90% of the people with g60s sort the charger out anyway which helps...

I have a dilema, i have a corrado g60 and after reading this months golf+ magazine i want to get a set of Polished Audi TT competition alloys for the car, the problem is, is that my car has 4x100 fitment and the wheels are 5x100... is there a simplish way to convert mine over to 5x100 or will i need to make up some adapters?? Any help would be great! Cheers

That woz it! the vacume to the ecu , there was a split in it, goes like stink now! i had to cut it down for the mean time! will have to get some new hose tommorow or something! Thanks for youe help!!

Rite guys! Ive just collected my first corrado g60 of which i am very pleased with! tho i have just a few questions and queries?? when i accelerate hard the car seems to struggle a bit slightly, seems weird, i was told by the owner that it might be the lambda sensor, is it worth changing any way, the car has only got 69000 miles on the clock... when i am driving normally it seems ok but as soon as i boot it there doesnt seem much there... its had a recent charger rebuild, chip and pulley etc done recently and is expected to be putting out around 180+ bhp?? the car is drivable but even the owner said it wasnt as quick as it used to be when he first got the chip and pulley etc done?? cheers guys, thanks for the info, i think i wll stick to my guns and keep on the look out for a decent one, i ve got an alrite insurance quote so thats not a problem, just gotta try and find a nice example thats been well looked after. i woz going to go down the vr6 route but as i am only 20 insurance companys tend just to laugh. :lol:

Hi ive got a Mk2 golf 8v gti , and i am thinking of getting a Corrado G60 in the not to distant future, theres me thinking there gonna be quick but everyone seems to tell me that there no faster that my 8v at the moment! just how quick/slow are they?? i do really like the look of the rado, and i ve been in a few 16v versions, but dont know how the G60s Compare. Any help would be great. Cheers
