What RAC tool is that then mate? - I hate a look around the site but couldn't find anything

At the moment I am considering a Apline or Clarion I think. I like Alpine - I used to have one - but I wanna closer look at the Clarion stuff. Oh yeah and buy a car to put them in :(

Can anyone recommend a mp3 headunit? All the ones I have seen so far are pretty colourful and have too many flashing lights and gadgets for my taste... I have a Nakamichi head unit in my golf at the mo - thats what I am after - something with excellent sound quality and not a flashing display with bloody dolphins or something on it. Any ideas?

I went and drove a J reg G60 yesterday and there where a couple of things wrong with it. Can some one help me with what they are? (I admit now I am not the most mechanically minded of people so bare with me...) 1) When the guy first gave me the keys I tried to start it up and it woukd not turn over. Over messing about a bit you had to wriggle the key loads until it - eventually - worked. The guy sellling it says this is a comman VW fault? Any ideas? 2)There was a rattle which sounded just like when my centre section and back box where lose on my golf - a kind of metal rattling noise but this noise came from over the drivers seat. It rattle when reving the engine in neutral. Apart from these things it seem OK. I used your (excellent ;) Corrado buying checklist and everything else seem OK. Now all I gotta hope is that he doesn't sell it before I get my money (which has been delayed again.) Hope this is the right forum section for this.

I have been trying out loads of different companys trying to find the best price for by (as yet not bought G60) and elephant where the best by miles. I am only 21 and most quoted me £1500-2500 but elephant came in with a great £871. It looks like I will be going with them when the time comes and the powers that be find me a decent G60...
