can you fit samco hoses to a 16v? 1.8

and am i better to buy t brand new then? i plan on getting the engne all fixed up and few mods while im away in cyprus

also does it to be a specific one? or can i use one from a golf? or other vw or other car

where can i pick up a starter motor and how much would it cost?

so as a novice at anythin mechanical what u think? id fuck it up? id try cause i dont mind gettin stuck in about things, just wanna know what knowledge i would need

im not to good under the bonnet though, how much would a garage take?

i think my engine needs rebuiilding as it just done seem to be running good at all, can anyone recommend a garage in and around glasgow/ayrhire area. what exactly is a rebuild and what are the costs?? what else can i do to the car to improve performance

ive just had all my pipes replaced and everything was fine, so with it all running wel with no leaks i drove to the garage to put some petrol into my car, started fine no problems!! but once i had filled up i went to start the car and nothing happened! i tried and tried and nothing happened wasnt even ticking over, so i pushed it to the side and my grandfather came with some jump leads and i still wasnt getting it to start, so i had to get towed back and on way back i bumped it easy enough, so car was running again, stopped and drove home but when i stopped and turned engine off it was dead again, has anyone any ideas what could have caused this or what it sounds like? starter motor maybe?? or what checks i can follow out

what happens when u totally rebuild the engine and get it back to good condition, also what parts can u upgrade

ive decided to keep my 16v and get the engine done, i was wondering what is best way to increase power and what sort of mods need done, ive been told before but i deleted the msg, and also a rough cost of stuff that could be done

and would it be better to buy g60 ones instead of ones for a 16v?? are they bigger??

so would aftermarket brakes for a g60 just slip onto my car?

could someone tell me which brakes i could get to fit on a 16v, the front are needing replaced and i wanna fit performance ones, i dont really wanna spend anymore than 350-400 for this and would also like the rear ones in they price to, any suggestions?? will g60 brakes fit or any other kind,, or bigger ones

what is the bhp of all corrados? from the 1.8 g60 to the vr6 and whats easiest to tune for more??

got problem, tried taking pics with digicam and it aint workin. was gonna put pic up of pipe thats cracked so someone could tell me which part it is. it is the pipe above the one which runs from the bottom of the radiator to something just under the alternator. the pipe is burst at seam, it runs into like a t shape and is part of the hose which goes into the unit that holds the oil filter in, does anyone know what pipe this is?? or does anyone happen to have a pic they can upload so i can circle the offending pipe

yeah i think it is the oil cooler pipes
