Chuggs! With your DIY SKILLS and my LUCK - let s buy it!
-
Yes saw that! I like Turbo :) But also LESS things to go wrong, so NO turbo! But MUST have a Passat B4 WORKING sunroof with newer round button sunroof control panel! ;)
-
Deal! :thumbleft: Er Did u say £10k? Let me rephrase- "i will be back in 5-8 years..."
-
I will bring u WITH ME to inspect first! Beer token, buddy? ;) With MINT Speedlines for Summer! And MINT Solitudes for Autumn! AND most importantly the chain/guides/etc already done! PS: Preferably 4WD! ;)
-
 :shocked!: My car is STAYING AWAY from yours from now on!
-
Yes, I can! And WITH a conscience! U know why? Coz In 3-5years time - i will be back with a MINT STORM VR6!
-
Hi Jim I was looking to replace my wheels as i think my 17" are too big, and do like to bring them back down 15". Also If i was keeping the C as a daily, then any 15" condition would be ideal as a set of winters! :thumbleft: But as the future of my C is always in doubt (as I always stated not sure how long I ll keep her due to ever changing circumstances) ... ...I will have to decline your kind offer :( But thanks it is tempting though especially when have decent Rainsports on! :thumbleft: I have even backed out of those MINT Solitudes I was after on here recently (well suit my C! ). But I didnt have the time to collect them :( Cheers again, Jim

My motors are noisy as hell, Chuggs! But think they were like that when I bought her. U think motor can be refurb? Dont think a change of mirror glass will fix the motor noise?!!! Yes, the heating element tabs are in wrong place. Just a case of cutting out a piece of plastic (making a bigger hole) in the plastic backing plate! If EVEN Wayne finds it easy - anyone can do it! :thumbleft:
-
Well It was 4degrees this morning. Wing mirrors a little foggy still after 10mins driving - EXCELLENT condition to test if wing mirror heating elements work? Switched on rear demister - WITHIN seconds BOTH my wing mirrors clear as a bell :thumbleft:
-
Cool! Thanks Andy, will do :thumbleft:
-
Ok I just put in 33 front + 32 rear yesterday at a guess. Rear was well up (can clearly see treads on edges) Front a little flat (no treads can be seen) - i ll put in 36 at front tomorrow then :thumbleft:
-
Cheers guys! So best guess - what should my front/rear be? Just watched Ch4+1: For the love of Cars - Aston Martin DBS - Fantastic car, fantastic ending
-
Silly question, Er what pressure should i have for my tyres?
-
No leaks ever! But then when it went into the garage for 1st time the garage did say MAJOR OIL and RADIATOR leak  So it could be me (or i need to go to spec savers!) Yes. I prefer the longer aerial myself. But when its not on the car, the shorter aerial just looks better! Will see - as both aerials are easily interchangeable anyway :thumbleft:
-
Still not convinced if short aerial is more befitting or old longer aerial? By the way, is my old aerial OEM??? What does everyone think?
-
Cool So i just need to make sure its 250miles per 1/4 dipstick (and not 100) U think my 2-3 times weekly va-va-vroom did it? Or the ocassional blue smoke (one thread said its cos the cylinders are thinner than golf s or something???)
-
Cheers Sean! If only life was that simple for Wayne!
-
Lol No worries bud, yes, dipstick all the way in....
-
Parked in EXACTLY the same spot, buddy :( AND engine is STONE COLD!
-
Another excellent write-up from our friends across the Atlantic again :thumbleft: http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9452 Might give it a go! :D
-
Cheers Sean for heads-up :thumbleft: Glad to hear from u from the seas

Research seem to show there were TWO aerial types for the Corrado? 1. Newer Single cable (co-ax no booster) 2. Older twin cable (co-ax + power cable for booster in base of aerial) I believe i have the newer type? How does one disconnect the connection on the left of the pic? I know my new aerial works ... It has a 3meter cable to co-ax plug. So, Since i already have the headliner out, Might as well replace the whole aerial cable! 1. How easy is it? 2. Where is the aerial booster? 3. Can i just pull the aerial from stereo via the A-pillar and it just comes out? Cheers
-
Is it that ugly? I had a hard time seeing the aerial alone?!!! But yes :thumbleft:
-
Parking bulb??? Er Dosent seem to be the correct bulb holder for that bulb? :( Any idea what bulb types goes in here?
