mine's a 1991 but i don't have a boost reading on the MFA??

hmm, could be a thought, probably more like an air leak somewhere its been like it for a while and the timings not been altered in any way. might pay to get it checked out though, anyone know the timing settings for a standard motor runnning a piper fast rd cam?

my 91 G60 is a tad unresponsive when i poot my foot down, it still goes really well but it feels there is room for improvment esp when i heard my mates golf rallye the other day, also the main problem is when i let my foot of the throttle the engine almost stalls then picks up at the last second, this happens at any temperature and from any amount of revs, even if i just dip the clutch when im coasting along, any ideas?

are you sure the charger was turning before you put it in? if you heard belt noise straight away then i'd say that it probably didn't spin to start with, make sure there are no saftey tags you need to remove or that the charger has no locking pins in to keep it safe in transit

well i thought i had it sussed, took the belt off made a mark on the cam cover and the pulley so as i would know where to put it back then as i'm putting the belt back on the bottom pulley moved, :x can anyone let me know where the timing marks are? i can see several dots on the cam pulley but nowhere to line it up against and the bottom pulley has nothing at all!

ace, i'll chack them both i know my ecu pipe is only about 15" so i'll source some new pipe for that, which is the Fpr pipe? is that the small black regulater thing on the inner wing?

anyone know any links to good corrado bodystyling dealers / stockists? plus i have OE front and rear bumpers available in met. black if anyone wants to buy

ok heres the problem just fitted a lovely rear bumper c/w number plate cut out so i've shifted the plate from between the lights leaving an unsightly blank plastic mess, and i can't find an infill panel for love nor money, do i A: fill the original panel and spray in body colour B: fit a metal cover to the original panel and spray in body colour c: get some clever dick to perspex it and paint the back of the perspex in pearl to give it a reflective look or D: wait for someone to tell me where i can get an infill panel? ( no tacky ones please :D )

yea kinda runs good on half throttle then when i put my foot down it chokes, i can normally get it to go if i feather the throttle, or let off then boot it again, it doesnt missfire or anything, feels like if it had a perfomance cam its dropped off cam but through the whole rev range. i'll check the ecu pipe, i noticed the breather pipe that goes from the manifold to the small black pressure reg on the inner wing had split and come off yesterday so its a possibility also just repaired a fuel leak on the regulator pipe

my g60 is suffering from an itermittant lack of power, it feels as though its overfuelling when i put my foot down and chokes itself right through the rev range then ill let off the throttle, change gear and 75% of the time its ok and revs freely, the car has been sat up for a while but the prob started about a week after i started driving it again, anyone got any ideas?? new plugsand a service sounds like a good starting point i'll be doing that today

i just bought some xenon krypton bulubs from the us and there 9004 type instead of H4's dont wanna send em back coz itll coast a bomb but i paid £15 for em. anyone got any ideas? :roll:

wheels r on no rubs!! lost a little bit of lock n i needed to hack away at the arch liner on the n/s/f . apart from that i got 3mm spacers on the back n thats ur lot. theyre 40mm offset so follow my lead you can get em on there theres no excuse not to now. try http://www.leightyres.co.uk for a cheap deal :D

yea i had a faulty blue temp sensor that caused my g60 not to run and it foulded up the plugs with fuel, when it did run it was sluggish at low revs but boy didnt she go when she was wound up!! :wink: !

its down 35 mm on springs n shocks, the wheeks are 18" and i presume 7.5j theyre 38mm offset, ill be running 215/35/18s so hopefully i should get away with minimum mods? :?

can anyone tell me if 18 inch wheels will go straight onto a corrado with a 35mm drop? **mod edit - moved to body mods section** stevemac
