  1. OMG Don't use a disc cleaner!!!! this is the worst thing you could do!! They are a CD with a brush on them that runs over the laser. Bad idea, if it intermittantly works now you may find that when you have used the CD cleaner that it doesn't work at all because the brush may scratch the lens. Try the other above suggestions but not the cleaner, if the others don't work I'll be happy to tell you the best way to clean the lens but will require it to be taken apart.
  2. Oh my god, somebody asks a polite cival question on wether they use there fog lights, to which I answer honestly and get called a w*nker!!! Who the f*ck are you to respond with a coment like that, Did your parents never teach you basic politeness or do you speak to everyone like that? Or is it just that you are behind a PC in your very angry world and this is only way you get to be 'King of the Hill'. Just because I choose to do something differently than you, you've decided that this person is now classed as a w*nker, unable to politely disagree and give the reasons why. Lloydieboy79 - I'm glad you asked the question as this is a harsh reminder on just how shallow people can be. ']['H3R4POR - I think you are a w*nker for supporting Liverpool..... see..... how sad is that!! Get a life
  3. tbh I always use em wind rain or shine. I think they look good and makes you more noticeable... not boy racer style, just so they know you are there as there are so many idiots about. The same reason I always have my lights on when riding a motorbike, so people see me.
  4. OMG!! I finally got the exhaust fitted after 6 exhaust centres said won't fit it and one of them said yes but would take 2 days and £100+ It looks, fits and sounds great! Anybody needing a new exhaust I would highly reccomend a Milltek, expensive but worth the money. Uber happy now
  5. Thanks for all the input people, I went with Milltek and ordered it from 16vG60 £400 +shipping it maybe a bit overpriced but is garunteed to arrive today. Don't mind paying a bit extra as the stag doo is more important and need to make sure my car will be roadworthy. Thanks again, off to go shoot paint and off road karting Woo Hoo :-P
  6. Thanks guys, I will let you know how I get on
  7. I have given my chassis number to http://www.racecar.co.uk/quicksilver/ London stainless stell exhaust centre and they have confirmed that it is the early version but the price is £396 inc VAT does seem right to anyone or is this overpriced as Awesome GTI offer Milltek for 'Corrado G60' for £256 Getting very confused now :( I'm trying to order this today as I got a stag doo to go to at the weekend and I'm designated driver. Any help muchos appreciated :)
  8. I just checked, I have the hook hangers holding up the centre box of the exhaust but the centre box has bar hangers. My bonnet is the raised one but I think was changed at some point due to front end prangv and the Petrol tank I am unsure.
  9. Mine is a K reg, the only thing I think mine is right on the change over point. Would the chassis number help?
  10. Hi there, My C needs a new exhaust system and I have been recommended the Milltek range. The only thing is I have been caught out by purchasing a rear box in the past by going on the info on the relevant website and looking fo 'Corrado G60' but I then got the wrong box for my car. Is there anyway of making sure I order the right one for my car? Any help much appreciated, I realy don't want to order and find it doesn't fit.
  11. Thanks all it gives me a starting point. The audioscape door panels look realy nice but may have to wait till I have the funds to get them with speakers and amp. Will let you know how i get on.
  12. Hmmm, maybe I asked the wrong question :( To all you people who get into there cars and at a touch of a button have there own orchestra riding with them. I would realy like to have a sweet sounding stereo but I get confused on all the choices, as above you see what I've got but would like to know what to do next. Replace the front speakers.. with what? Do I amp them or leave running from the head set. I've seen a set of component 160W speakers with a 200W amp but this seems odd to me, how can you pump 200W into 160W speakers?? does this not blow them you see my predicament. Suggestions on what or where I go from here.
  13. Hi all, what would you suggest? I have installed: Headunit - basic Kenwood CD player (Lost the face of my Kenwood KDC-M7024) Dash - not used Door - origional (need replacing) Tweeters - JBL (possibly blown) Crossovers - JBL Rear seat side panels - JBL 6x9 (previous owner) boot - Vibe AC10 bass box 600 watt 10" (brought from previous car) Head unit rear runs 6x9, front runs door speaker/tweeter and sub out to the Vibe. The front sounds terrible so I keep it low, 6x9 are good but drown out the box in the boot. Keep it simple I'm no Guru :) but would appreciate some suggestions.
  14. My favourite bit has got to be the Number Plate  Were you just lucky or did u already own it?
