  1. Haha... this is all old news to you, Krazee. Just sharing some pics of my bucket. :elephant:
  2. Not on yet, I have a few more things I need to gather before wrenching. It'll be going on a freshly rebuilt VR6 with some goodies as well as a 6-speed with a Quaife. Here's the motor now: Tranny right after the rebuild and powdercoat (built by my good friend): And the car:
  3. The inlet is powdercoated gloss black. The VSR plate is chromed and the lettering is hand-painted black.
  4. Seems like everyone is going 24v these days. Back to the roots = back to the old days of VWMS modding 12v's. You guys are hilarious! More pics:
  5. The SCCG spans southern San Diego to northern LA.
  6. I agree with Henny. The blue temp sensor determines the motor's fuel dynamics. If it is defective in any way, your C will not run properly. Very cheap and easy to replace.
  7. Thanks for the clarification... The intake manifold on the Red C was made by Volkswagen Motorsport in the early 90's. VW made 500 of them, and then sold the patent to Schrick. Although it gives a slight increase in low-end torque, it is the rarity of the piece that makes it quite valuable and hard to find.
  8. I apologize for my lack of worldly synonyms, but what is "score"?
  9. Thank you for the kind words, everyone. The black C is the most impressive Corrado I've seen in person. The owner purchased the car brand new in 93 and rebuilt the car bolt-by-bolt by himself, including the 6-speed Quaife. I live in San Diego. If you'd like to attend a meeting or a drive, email me: mailto:[email protected] Unfortunately, rust is actually quite a problem on the coast. Yes very little rain, but a lot of salt and moisture from the ocean... not to mention intense UV rays!
  10. About 2 years ago I started a little group here in California. Here is my collection of photos. Enjoy. Relatives visited...
