  1. Hey delfinis, where was your control box located? cheers,
  2. ok so...step 2...locate the alarm control box...thats about as far as i can get...where is it located?! cheers for any help!
  3. Thanks Delfinis38. I'll check this out on the weekend. Still a little cold to spend an evening tinkering. So you didn't go for a new alarm then? Maybe it's time I should go for one, need to sort out the leak in the rear passenger footwell first but thats another story... Thanks again Delfini
  4. Hey all you lovely folk. Battery went dead a few days ago after a week with one of the internal lights on I suspect, after giving it a bit of a charge off another car the Laserline immobiliser is working but is not deactivating when using the fob, it is the laserline 995 system, i have the original paperwork but have no idea how to reset it, I know an old mechanic replaced the battery a few years ago for me and set the alarm off in the process so I want to be sure not to do that! Thanks ever so much, this place always has the answer buried somewhere but have rooted around without much success so far.
  5. Hey all, long time listener, first time caller... I've got a 1993 2.9 'rado and have loved it dearly for about 7 years. Finally have a week off from work so am able to spend some time sorting some niggles out that have started to crop up this year. Usually I use the forums and dig around but didn't have much luck with the issue I currently have. My radiator fan motor is knackered, it's still working but it sounds awful whenever the fan kicks in. I spoke to the mechanic who said it's going to eventually give out but because the model I have is the dual fan cooler, it's not as easy as just buying a new fan motor and you really need to hunt down a replacement fan unit, he suggested hunting around on the web for one as to get a new unit in will be £300 otherwise. I've been scouring for a while for a matching fan motor: 357 959 445 J I have found this one though which looks identical but wanted to check with you guys if you think I should go for it or if there is something fundamentally different, or if you have any other smart ideas... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/361435082070?rmvSB=true Thanks for all the tips you have given me over the years.
