Right so, checked it all. Seems it's the module part there's power before it's plugged in then no power. It's the stupid looking coil on the 9a that are now rarer than rocking horse poo or extortionately priced. I've bought another coil it's not correct as the connection is too small. I'm thinking of finding the connection plug that fits the coil I've got. (Coils from EuroCP) picture of it below. It says it's the correct one but the connectors too small so would you have any idea what the correct plug would be on? Clearly it's not a 9a engine. [emoji52] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Morning all, got an on going issues with the Rado. The coil keeps failing on a 9a 16v, I've replaced r once and it seems to have failed again. Getting no spark to plugs already changed dizzy HT leads and rotor arm. Prior to it having no spark and not starting it was intermittently cutting out and not restarting. I'm gathering this is also electrical as the smell of fuel is apparent from turning it over. Any idea why the coil would keep failing...? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That I have done, yellow insulation tape solved the issue for a day [emoji23]. Is there any type of bonding stuff I can get hold of what will sort the issue? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was guessing it was an issue with the gluing. I've personally not had it done but it may have been done in the past. Pretty much stuck with the best solution for it. I've seen a few feeds about people filling it with silicon and it not working. Not too sure what to do Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi, I've got no spark at all from my ignition coil, I'm guessing it's that that has packed in. Any info on the part I need? All the ones I'm finding are the cubed kind not the cylinder kind that my coil is. Cheers James Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So, bought my first Rado in December last year and I've just bought another as a little project. I'll be looking for bits and bobs, definitely need the covers for the heating switches as they're missing and will be putting it through an MOT very shortly to see what needs doing. Car has been off the road since 2013 so 4 years of standing although it has been started and did start when I went to look at it this afternoon. Hopefully it doesn't need too much it's pretty straight for what it is. 1.8 16V KR, stainless exhaust, lowered (I believe on springs) not had chance to look yet. Interiors meh, not great but not bad, gonna need a grey drivers side seat. Think it's also got the leather steering wheel in but it's a bit perished. A shed load of history from the original sale to 2013. Anyway the point of this whole post, SORN.... it's the first time I've bought a car that was SORN at the time. Do I need to wait for my V5 to come through to then SORN it? Many thanks, James Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
