  1. Top stuff cheers Lee, keep us posted
  2. They will be 40's, basically got Kevs's old 25mm adaptors/spacers but I was gonna get the machined down to 20's so I got no arch rubbing issues. However with the advent of 4 pot desire then it maybe best to get arches rolled!!
  3. Any you peeps happen to know if you can get 4 pot callipers behind RH Alurad ZW1's (17'" 5x100's) :?: I have done a fair bit of searching but come up with "diddley squat"!!
  4. Just checked my local Stealers and they can supply 021 103 601L for £76 all in which is off a 24v lump, dont know if this will fit and would it be cool to use the exsisting gasket or have to use silcone to seal? That is the cheapest they can do it as they only make 2% on the deal they normally give me 20% off but can only do 10% on this item!! :? They come with the plug also fitted.
  5. LOL go on Kev convince yourself you need one, dont forget its lighter as well 8)
  6. Hey sorry guys ive only just got back from Bulgaria and youre right I should of asked for both of your approvals, compliment or no compliment! I will remove both pics immediately if you wish and try and search out (and ASK for owners consent this time) some equally smart looking Raddo's. PS Big Eastside Yes I am a Dippy idiot for forgetting to smudge your plate out.
  7. Beamer is a tempting option but I would really miss that V6 burbling, howling then burbling again! but wouldnt dream of changing for A3 pd or Ibiza. I still get loads of compliments and positive comments made about the VR6, more I reckon than you would about any of the cars mentioned, because to be fair the Corrado is more than a bit special IMHO.
  8. Yeah youve gotta hand it to the "Arga" boys and especially the PD variety! My pal has got a A3 TDi PD thats producing 197 bhp and get this 312 lbs ft of torque and was pretty much killing (according to him) anything that was willing to try it on. He had been pestering me for months for us to go out for a blast even though my car has got a under fuelling prob at the mo I finally relented. 0-30 he was still right there with me then I started to see him fall away gradually but increasingly at a quicker rate right up to 120 ( only a short bit of dual carriageway) needless to say he was "GUTTED" afterall he is only 19, he is young but he will learn! We had dome some amatuer 0-60's in his car and I timmed a 7sec dead whilst he was driving and it stuck to the road like S*** to a blanket, with a little help from Mr Koni an 18" rims wrapped in Yokos's. Well impressed to be honest as he returns 40-50 mpg whilst driving it pretty damn hard.
  9. Yeah best form of advertising is word of mouth ive sent plenty of buisiness his way and TSR's through forums and word of mouth literally making them hundreds of pounds and im sure you guys cant count the amount of times youve recommended them to peeps! Just saying that we are trusted by less knowledgable car owners to recommend mods and where in our experience is best to get em done, basically this forum is a powerfull form of free advertising. So a very little give and take wouldnt go a miss for people who champion their company. But I also see the point of buisiness is buisiness!
  10. My local steeler charges 45 quid plus vat per hour normally but gives me and others a 30% discount cos its an older car. Must be working on the principle that if you can roll around confidentley in an older motor and keep her running sweet you aint the average mug who takes it to the Steelers regardless. Ive had plenty of work done by Vince and was just making a point of why no incentives to enthusiasts who fuel and create interest for many other petrol heads who keep the corrado alive and his buisiness healthy?
  11. Pooh worth a try, if steelers can offer discounts for clubs and older cars for repairs then why not Stealth?
  12. Anyone know if Stealth offer any kind of discounts for Club members? There new website is online check it out Stealth Racing
  13. Too late to board this train Tempest? I could wire the money to you through PayPal and ill add and pay the 4% that they will charge you (robbing Gits) Fully smoked for me my man, and in the mean while ill just cross everything in the vain hope I aint too late.
  14. Cheers boys, as usual good advice and info to checkout
  15. The plot thicken's, well she's trued up better but on closer inspection of the alternator pulley wheel its only got 6 channels machined into it pretty damn perculiar considering the rest of the pulleys have 7 and ive been running it like that for the past 3 years with no probs to speak of! My alernator was replaced by a Euro Car Parts jobby 3 years back anyone else running a 6 slot pulley?
  16. Yeah true but thats another 60 on top of another 30! will double check Scruffy.
  17. Well its getting a bit pricey now at 30 quid a pop, ive changed the bearing (as per Phat Boy's stickie) and nothing appears to be out of place only when you look over the top of the pulleys the tensioner one sticks out a noticabley (towards air box) more than the alternator! So it is feeding onto the alt pulley at a off centre angle and when the revs get up that belt wants to get off. help!
  18. Cheers fellas, I will get to having a look as soon as this hangover lifts :drinking: Oops almost forgot to thank Steve for that priceless bit of problem solving....now why did'nt I think of that  To VR6 thats one sweet understated C yeh got there pal, classy looking!
  19. After what feels like a decade since I set out on my Diy'athon ive finally fired her back up (incidentley she sounds sweet) and now cant get her oot off the garage as I cant engage reverse :? 1st to 5th all seem fine any ideas peeps?
  20. You took the descision to dispaly your car to the public and if you think that the only comments your where gonna get where those of praise then "wake up and smell the coffee"! Im only saying what I think when I look at your snaps, sorry fella but thats my opinion not exactley "nasty" just honest!
  21. Remeber that VW advert when all those Trev'ed up butchered Golf's where crying? sorry pal but thats all I can think of when I look at your raddo!

Not knocking what Vince is saying but the figures he is seeing on the Dyno are not a true and 100% accurate simulation of whats happening with the cold dense ram air on the road. The fans that are used aint exactly the closest thing to a wind tunnel ive ever seen!
  23. Gotcha pal, tah very much for the info.
  24. Thanks to you both Joe & VR6sc, the fitting prob would be attributed to tha fact that I am fitting a Shrick manifold. Glad youve straightened me out on that one cheers guys.
