I took a golf Mk2 front one cut about 3-4cm off and then got a local ally welder to weld it back together for £10. Not bad as the brace only cost me £20. I'd try that route

I had a 91 1.8 16V, It was the best car ive ever had, it only cost me routine servicing.

Hi all Does anybody know where I can get the aux oil pressure and voltage dials from that fit under the ashtray?, cause looking around a few corrados at Tatton Park the other day and a few had them in. I would love a set for my VR6. Any ideas.

Yeah I got a set of BBS RX in 17" format with Fulda 205/40/17 tyres for a respectable £765 from Halfords in Cannock (Staffordshire)

Hello Im getting a set of 17" BBS RX's this week after saving for ages, and i was wondering if any boby has these on already or if any body can recommend what wheel locking bolts i can use and where to get them from. Cheers Paul

Help Guys Whilst driving my VR6 around everything is fine but as soon as I come to stop at lights or a junction etc the C just dies the revs fall straight away and the tell tale red light is on! This problem does not happen all the time only occassionaly, but it can happen whilst the engine is still cold or after a good run (2 Hours+) Any Help gratefull Cheers Paul W

Hi Guys Was looking at some rondell alloys which come in at 8 x 17 with an offset of et35, was wondering if these will fit onto my VR6, and if so what tyre size do you recomend, can you get away with 205/40/17 :?: If not they also do 7.5 x 16 with the same offset, but would prefer the 17's any ideas boys :?:

Hi All Hope you can shed some light on my problem, whilst driving along in my 94 Vr6 all is well, but as soon as I come to stop at say traffic lights or a round about the engine dies. This is only an intermitant fault though and does not happen all the time, I was hoping that you guys can help me before I start spending money on new ISV's, throttle sensor etc, and the like. thanks Paul

what had happened was the tiny little retaining clip that goes between the outer release cable and attaches to the handle, had snapped. So over the weekend have made a new bracket so this will never happen again. :D

Has any body else had problems with their bonnet not being able to open, cause this has happened to me twice now. Have replaced the cable and release handle once already and now it has happened again. Getting the bonnet open is a right pain in the arse. :x
