When i started my corrado VR6 this morning i noticed abit of smoke cumming out of my exhaughst when i reved my car, more than usual. it cleared up after about 30-40 seconds. what is this?

sound mate, yep on a run my vr oil temp goes to about 90-92 then in traffic about 96-98. looks like its not over heating then cheers! where do you get your reading for your water temp?

when driving my corrado 2.9 VR6 what temp should the temp gauge be showing? also when leaving my car standing still "to idle" or "in traffic" what tem should my gauge go up to?

Just wanted to no how much it would be for the following work to be done professionaly for my 2.9 VR6 Corrado. new tappets, new cams and new head gasket

I can still put one of these on though and keep my CDA filter and that wont i? so all it does is make more induction noise? how much are they?

Hello people, i have just bought may's issue of performane VW and there is a VR6 Golf in there with a cone filter with ABT POWER ROHR. what is this BT POWER ROHR? where can i get one from? and how much are they? on my corrao i have got a full CDA induction kit with vented wing.

yes mate it is like a metal to metal rubbing noise but it is not very loud. i have had all my engine mounts and gear box mounts checked out and their all in perfect working order. i will get dubsport to check out my drive shafts. cheers!

you no what mate, i thought it could have been the drive shaft as well. ill take my car to dubsport and get it checked out. as soon as i find out what it is i will keep you updated

hello lads, i have had a problem with my sunroof for a while "small amount of water in passenger footwell" i had a new sunroof fitted because some twat had broken my old one and the problem is still there. i have taken out my roof lining and when i poor water over my car the leak seams to be coming from the "front passenger drainage pipe" on the sunroof. it is attched properly. water seems to be running down the plastic pilar near the front windscreen then down towards the plastic bits near the passenger door hinges and into the passenger footwell. could this pipe be split or blocked? P.S in sunroof terms what is the interior panel

hello lads, i have had this problem on my car for a while and its getting abit louder. when i am slowing down "approaching a junction" you can hear a rubbing noise on both sides of the front top end of the car "its like when a train goes ch ch, ch ch, ch ch" but does not sound like a train. the sound is like its in timing with a point on my wheel when it goes round. STRANGE explanation i no! i have 17's, Koni coilovers, pads + discs, new wheel bearings, track rods, ball joints and sub-frame could this be the top mounts

i have some times a small amount of water in my passenger foot well. this leak seems to be coming from the Front passenger Drainage pipe on the sun roof. is this blocked? or shall i replace it, just incase it is split?

i was driving down the road the other day then when i pulled up to the junction and stoped my car cut out, it done this a number of times and when this happen a ticking noise was coming from my fuel relay box (blue box relay box) why is this happening?

MY TEMP GAGE IS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY BECAUSE OF BAD WIREING, I THINK A WIRE IS BROKEN OR A WIRE IS EARTHING OUT SOMEWERE AND ITS CAUSING MY TEMP GAGE NOT TO WORK CORRECTLY. CAN VOLKSWAGEN RUN A WIRE FROM THE YELLOW SENSOR ON THE THERMO HOUSING AND CONNECT IT TO THE RITE WIRE IN THE PLUG THAT GOES IN THE BACK OF SPEEDO CLOCKS? WILL THIS WORK IF IT WAS BAD WIREING TO BEGIN WITH?

WHERE DOES FUSE RELAY BOX No 99 GO?

hello lads, corrado VR6 qestions here! Some wanker pulled the fuse box wires out of my fuse box while installing an alarm. Since then my temp gage on my clocks stoped working, i bought some new clocks and the temp only went to 70 degrees and this has been going on for 3 months. so i thought this was the sensor on thermo housing causing the problem. before i managed to get my temp sensor fixed two weeks ago the clocks started to work correctly going to 90 degrees normal running temprature. "i thought fucking nice one, thank fuck for that" then, today i blew my fuse for the central locking and elecwindows, i replaced the fuse "the one rite up in the dash" and i had to move alot of wires carefuly. when i started my car and thrashed it round for abit, i noticed the temp gage was only going up to 70 degrees again. is this a wiring job for VW or do you no anyone in the wigan/chorley area that will sort this problem? P.S. the fuse relays above the fuses, can someone explain where relay boxNo 99 goes because in knocked it out.

it never goes above 70 and dubsport have checked my thermostat out

when you say replace the coolant temp sensor on the instruments "not the E.C.U" is that sensor the yellow sensor in the thermostat housing. i will get my car checked out on one of those VAG-COM to compare the temp gauge on the clocks to the temp from the E.C.U signal.

Hello, i have got a problem with my tempreture gage at the moment. it is only going up to just short of 70 degrees. a couple of months ago some wanker was installing an alarm in my corrado VR6 and when he was messing with my fuse box he pulled all my fucking wires out. when he put all the wires back in there was a few things that would not work. Temp gage was one of them. so i taken my car to an auto electrician and they said the wireing to the fuse box for the temp gage was fine so it was down to my clocks. i got a new set of clocks and the temp gage was only going up to 70 degrees unlike the previous ones that would not work before (i think this wanker who installed my alarm shorted something in th clocks). i taken my car to dubsport and they said its my clocks, so i got another set of clocks and it only went up to 70 degrees again. surely this cannot be the clocks that are at fault. is this a job for VOLKSWAGEN?

i have had all my brakes, pads and discs checked out and even sorted that clip to hold your pads in place and the noise is still there. any other sugestions?

alright mate i have had new pads and disks, but on the passenger side front "the clip to hold my pads in place is loose" and i am going to sort it tomorrow. i will post you tomorrow and see if it has made a differance. thanks
