  1. Magic, cheers I’ll keep you all up to updated if you want? Haha hopefully I get my car back soon😪
  2. Cheers folks, He’s said he’d like to hook up the ecu to reset or see what’s been done as the supercharger has been bypassed but I believe that’s a small mod for hp 🤷🏼*♂️ I jst want it running like it should 😪 This Bentley manual, you able to hook me up with a link to it, need that in my life I think 🤔 Cheers
  3. I have an idea.....get my Corrado the same? 😬
  4. Cheers Shaun, this guy that’s doing my car seemingly used to crew for the Golf G60 Rally team so was confident in his abilities and the reason I put it to him, just taking too long haha
  5. So my G60 went into a local garage 4 months ago due to my lack of knowledge on why it was choking itself, so today I got an update, something about he can’t get a wiring diagram for the ECU to find what’s up and how my car has been fiddled with in the past. So I’m that fed up with the car I’m considering selling it for spares and hopefully recouping some monies or do I wait and see if this mechanic can sort the old girl up or do I engine swap? If your still reading I thank you and any advice is appreciated
  6. Ye that sounds a good bit like what’s been done, even got the optional catchment tank, tried adding pics but can’t seem to do it. Jst a ****ed charger then maybe?
  7. Hello all, posted a few times about my G60 stuttering when I put the foot down a bit. The latest test was to disconnect the lambda sensor and see how she ran, however that made no difference. I’ve given in and taken it to a local VW guy who popped the bonnet and was wondering “WTF has someone done under here?” He believes my symptoms were G-Lader related which made me get a horrible feeling. Seemingly my charger has been blanked off and other pipes disconnected and silly wee filters added under the bonnet. The charger has a code on it which suggests it’s been played about with. Any of you guys know or how I can find out whose butchered my car? Reg number J565 NVU if that helps
  8. Ye single click, looks like the earth is a wee bit dodgy anyway to be honest it’s been done with a connector block. Didn’t try bumping as the battery is brand new. Will try the alternator wire etc too, thanks. Could I have blown a fuse reconnecting the sensor? Thanks
  9. Ok tonight was eventful, I disconnected the lambda sensor in the engine bay and took it for a spin to see if the ‘stuttering’ was gone, which it seems to be however I turned the car off and reconnected it to take it for a another run to see if it was jst luck but the car did not restart only let out a single click and the oil light flashed aaaahhhhh what is up with this thing?
  10. Magic, ta So hope that’s all it is, worried it’s something more horrible coz the wife will flip her lid hahaha
  11. Wow you guys really know ur stuff! Thanks, ok so next question what am I looking out for when I disconnect this lambda sensor and what do I need to do once I’ve disconnected it? Thanks again 👍
  12. I’ve only really checked the leads and plugs, the ‘WOT switch’? What and where and how? Nope not disconnected the lambda sensor, that easy enough and again where and how? Cheers for your help
  13. Hello folks, seems my G60 is out to annoy me, put a wee post up a couple weeks ago moaning about my car ‘strangling’ itself when I accelerate. I’ve changed the Fuel pump as advised by my local mechanic, no difference, Changed the Blue Coolant Temp Sensor thing, no difference, Changed the plugs and leads, got a bit of smoke now on acceleration but still strangles itself, Changed the battery, starts easier Got a Fuel Regulator Valve to fit but I make houses etc so don’t even know where to look for that under the bonnet PLEASE HELP hahahahaha
