No, water temp seems OK. One thing I thought it might be is a valve that is attached to the water hoeses in the engine bay before they go into the heater matrix, think it is some kind of safety valve, I had one quit on a mk II Golf Gti, in that case it just closed and the heater would not work at all. cheers Saul

Hi All The heater on my 1990 16v Corrado stops working (blowing hot air) after 20mins or so ,especially in slow town traffic, any ideas why ? It will start working again if I stop the car and leave it for a while. Cheers Saul

Hi All My 1990 16v has a broken drivers door handle. I've been told this is common but not sure what the common fault is with the handle. With mine its a part of the cast metal broken off that holds a spring in place, can this be fixed ? If not any ideas for where to get a handle at a decent price ? its the handle with wireing attached. Cheers Saul

Hi All I've noticed that the glass lens on the headlight unit seems to be just held on with clips to the rest of the unit ,is it possible to unclip the glass to remove it and replace it with undamaged glass from another unit. I want to do this as the secondhand unit I bought has some broken plastic clips that hold the unit in place. Is this possible to do ? Cheers Saul
