  1. The same as you, it is a 260 deg cam. Also having a fast road cam stops all the problems with rough idle due to large valve over lap which you get with the 276 and 294 deg i'll email you the cost of postage just got to pop down the post office

  2. Finally got my corrado g60 back on the road after about a year of problems. Just wondered if anyone could give us a rough idea of the BHP.

  3. Gsf filter are ok never had any problems with them they are identical to main dealer ones i have fitted both and also have the oil valve in them to keep oil up in your engine when its not running

  4. Yes if the engine is not running these to fault code would be present

    00540 Knock sensor II (G 66)

00513 Engine Speed Sensor (G68) Impossible signal / No signal

If you start up the engine the fault code should go from a present fault to a non present fault. If you clear the codes they should not reappear again whilst the engine is running. The fuel rump relay fault I am not sure about I would expect a open circuit fault code recorded if the immobiliser was the cause. If the car is running sweet I would not worry to much just clear the code and recheck in a weeks time to see if any of them return

    :)

  5. Hi wondered if anyone could help. I want to order some new number plates for my corrado. Does any one have any info on how you find out where your car was made. My chassi number is WVWZZZ50ZMK009677 :?:

  6. Could possibly be the cat is blocked what can happen is that ball like shape of honey cone sits at the bottom of the cat and when you drive the vehicle and increase the rpm the ball get blow to the end of the cat partcally blocks it causeing lots of exhaust gasses to get stuck in the mainifold thus making the mainfold glow. As the engine pumps more and more gases into the confines area, in the end the engine will stall due to the engine get choked. Just a thought come accross this quite a lot over the years i've worked on cars.

  7. cheers for your help lads. I havent got aound to removing the head yet but i expect there to be some bent valves. Luckly i am a mechanic so i'll be able to do the work myself still its going to be expensive. H100 i've emailed you i am intrested.

  8. Hi ya I was diving along the other day and my engine cut out. After getting the car home I found that my crank pulley had come off and sheered the bolt in side the crank. What i wanted to know is the crank on a g60 the same as a normal 8v injection engine or is it reinforces and does anyone have a part number?

  9. Hi there i am getting my corrado reprayed soon and wanted to carry out some prep work my self to keep the bill down. Just wanted to know if corrado windows are bonded in or do they come out like mr1/ mr2 golf's do :?:

  10. Light usually comes on when the expansion tank is about half full just check that the light flashes when you first turn the igntion on. It should then go out. If you want to check if the wiring is ok bridge the muliti plug out the light should flash this shows that all the wiring is ok. The expansion bottle sensors are known for going wrong regulary.
