Corrado Spotting was it you [Archive April 06]
OrbitAl replied to mistrall's topic in General Car Chat
biggrim, re the post 130406.That was me in the BLACK  VR6 at the lights.Good looking machine you got there mate!!! -
My C was Cat D Oct 03 after a rear shunt. The repair carried out was first class and although initially i thought of getting rid i held onto her and am so glad i did.Am thinking of selling her now though and would have no qualms of declaring the Cat D as the repair has no adverse bearing at all on the car.As said earlier due to high VAG replacement parts Cs are easily made Cat Ds.Moral being good repair=no issues. As PhatVr6 says at least with a Cat D declaration you know whats been done.

Cheers Neil. Will give it a look mate.

Help if possible folks. Got a sigma cat 2 alarm/immob on C and recently the drivers door lock has stopped working from remote fob.All other locks engage from the fob and central locking still employs when drivers door locked with key.Any suggestions to remedy???? Thanks

Started with my old man in the 70S(bear with me!!!!).He had been a Cortina man all his days and then came home one day clutching the brochure for the new VW Scirroco.Loved it.Unfortunately or not he fired another direct hit and with another family member on the way the S wasnt practical so it didnt happen.I always liked the c but by the time i came to start looking there were some really tired ones and the C was about. Not much of a contest really so waited and waited and eventually got my black, leathered up VR6 which i still think is the best car ive ever driven until this weekend when i drove a 225 TT.So my beloved C will soon be going, but no regrets whatsoever.A truly brilliant piece of kit!

Well, woke up this morning to discover that some c@@t had decided to relieve my VR6 of the front grill and both front indicator housings.Fotunately can source replacements from Europarts but just wish the F****r had done same.I hope he/she next craps a porcupine and they have a slow painful ,lingering death.......Ahh fell better now.C@@T

Good god! Havent been on the forum for 7/8 weeks and was considering selling the VR6.What the bloody hell has happened to the value of the C? Is it a dip in the second hand market in general or is the C losing its appeal. Well might just sit tight and hold onto her and see what happens.Anyone out there test driven the new ST yet???? Happy New Year to all forum members.
