Presenting the new VW Eos - Anyone interested?
GIXXERUK replied to StirlingStorm's topic in General Car Chat
looks a bit devoid of any emotional style, CAD working o/t i think -
i didnt find any of them torquey , most 16v engines arent , they are built to rev ""Man in Dandism New Rich and Sports" oh dear :-(
-
the engines arent torquey but they love to scream :-) and are really reliable
-
what about your shopping !! :-)
-
looks like a saab at the rear , carrera for me , like i have the choice, not !
-
i remember watching those on the lombard , brilliant stuff :-)
-
aye this was around about a year ago , there soooooooo much time and money gone into that but its not to my taste :-(
-
you sort of understand the attraction but not being a rider it isnt the same , thats probably the difference between you and your stepdad and that the difference i was talking about even after that he still rides and yet you wont pillion (wouldnt like to pillion myself tbh, i like to be in control)
-
hmm y'all make bikes sound like a deathwish , yes they are very dangerous but unless you ride you will never understand the attraction , i'm sorry but you really to be a biker to understand and then offer an opinion
-
superb that mate , nice skills
-
logicaltuning, and the usual is as with most imports , the rear square number plate not a good pic but you get the idea
-
cheers for the link get a smaller car :-) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... otohosting
-
open yer window , you'll know if its a turbo i've had two celica gt's and a supra and they are brilliant cars
-
fitted the 90mm front splitter i had off son of a beesting :-) mine had a crack which has bugged me since i bought the car
-
the later (not the boxy one)mr2 has the same 2.0 engine as the celica which is 176bhp
-
i bought last years ghostrider so i could get entered into the draw at the nec to win his black gixxer thou i didnt win :-(
-
cant advise ....must have both ..........ahhhh !!!! i failed my first bike test :-( a road had recently been resurfaced and covered with those chippings , it had temporary 15mph speed limit signs so i slowed to 15mph ....WRONG !! i was told ... those signs are advisory you should have stayed at the 30mph limit to make the correct progress
-
i've got leather , love it ! best check out the for sale section or keep an eye on ebay , there are some on there now but they dont have the door cards :-( 17's run a low profile tyre , the bigger the wheel the lower the profile to retain the rolling radius go lower than 40 or 45 and your talking big bucks to replace them , 17's use 45's
-
usual stuff are lupo wipers as the rado ones are crap over 30mph uprated headlight loom as the standard loom only feeds 9v to the front candles suspension either coilovers or lowered springs with a decent set up etc etc the list is endless mate really .......no one has ever reached the end of it as far as i know :-)
-
i reckon you could do 18's without arch modification if depending on what suspension you are running 19's would need the arches rolling and then it would be touch and go , 17's go in comfortably without any modification to the arches the suspension you run makes a big difference , the ride will be very rough with 19's as you need a 35 or lower if poss profile
-
the lights imo will look good and make the rado a lot more modern looking , i'm not a fan of those wheels though tbh , they look too much like wheel trims to me
