  1. Depends what he done to raise the compression? Just skimming the cylinder head will raise the compression slightly. This might be a fancy way of saying that. Ask him what was done?
  2. Sounds intresting, It would make a nice replacement for my S4 engine
  3. It a shame, A lot of work has gone into that project, But it still at it early stages and there a loads more work to be done. Mounting the engine looks good because you see progress then you work for weeks/months, making little brackets and pipes, nothing seems to be changing. If he want to get rid of the engine let me know :?:
  4. Now thats a better option, Using a Passat/A4 97>2000 TDI FWD gearbox, This bolts straight to the engine and handles the power no problem, Quaife LSD are available for this gearbox. Then space frame the rear end to take the Engine/gearbox. A lot of work but would be cool. Different? It has been done in a VW Caddy, but not in a Corrado
  5. It would be major work to install the S4 engine in the front of a corrado, If mounted longitudinal you would struggle to fit the engine under the front pannel a get the front driveshafts in. The bulkhead would have to be modified, steering rack relocated and many other jobs.

    MFA resets itself

Can I just jump in and say my corrado G60 does this. It reset the clock and trip mileage, but also on a long run the Rev counter/ Speedo/ Fuel and water guages Flicker, Normally when you have the lights on and when you use the indicators. When they flicker they dont reset the time or milleage. My corrado has done this for 3 years. The reseting of the clock is about every 2-3 months! Toby
  7. Did my 1991 G60 without taking the dash out. There is a metal bracket thats in the way but if you look under the dash it bolts in. Not sure about the later dash type but managed it on mine.
